There is no waiting and you will have to call too many times to catch a line. But if you persist, surely someone will answer.Even if the line closes you will have to call again and again.Do not listen to the whole recorded message, press the number of your choice directly ..And good luck

I applied 23 weeks ago for NIN and still no decision. Have spent hours trying to talk to someone but no one ever answers the call. Have also sent a letter asking kindly about any update, but no success here as well. The worst possible experience!

Filed my application February this year, haven't heard anything back. I have been calling for months now without luck. I completely understand that they must be swamped with requests right now but this is absolutely horrendous service. My employers HR department is running out of patience.

I was stuck and needed help with my application. Sean Gallagher (5th floor) stayed on the phone for an extra 10 minutes overtime to help me and I never felt more supported in customer service. Highly recommend.

I've been trying for so long to contact them (3 months maybe). Today I was finally successful.I've always pressed button 1 since it's the correct choice for me but today I kept pressing number 2 because I thought the priorities would be greater. And it worked!!!!!Good luck!

I was on call with agent he hang up my call just 1 minutes before 5pm which mean they want to finish on time maybe i ring hang then its 5 so they can't answer it any more very bad service. Not helpfull at all

Terrible service, they decline my National insurance number for invalid reasons. After 1,5 month 35 calls a week including my HR manager from work self, and colleagues no answer I send an email signed with all the proof still nothing heard from it this is again early August. Phone numbers are switching and not correct often. Do those people get paid for what? Never ever I have seen such a bad service in my life!I do not know what to do any more regarding this topic.

Like most others here I find it inexcusable that they only give you one 0800 number that never connects. Applied for a NI number months ago and received a letter saying they need more information but didn't say what, but to call the number. If not done within 3 weeks they may end the application!!What happens when you try to call many times every day without getting connected??I read that civil servants are refusing to go into the office due to Covid. Why is the public sector allowed to do this as they are being paid by us the tax payer? Absolutely atrocious and I am considering contacting my MP.

It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get to them, it's been 5 months now that I've applied for a NIno and I don't have any outcome yet. I don't know what to do, I call everyday 10 times, no response they just cut the line, how are we supposed to contact them???? There is just one number and it seems there is no one there working or what?? My HR department is getting desperate and I don't really know how to proceed now... totally lost. Nino Centre is completely useless, seriously.

It's a nightmare to get in touch with them, called already about 50+ time's,it keeps hanging up after choosing an option,even took a holiday to call them,but i need to work,how the hell to call them.Update:it took me about 200 calls, seriously,and finally they picked up,so you should be very patient and call them like non-stop,i started calling from 9 till 13 o'clock.
