not very user friendly payroll software but trying to phone them for support is virtually impossible, especially when it's payday and you need them most!! Really challenging company to deal with.

Sent the 4 emails over 2 days about how to transfer to new computer. We use the bureau payroll for a few years. They used to call back and solve our queries. Now they have not even acknowledge any of my emails!

Their website goes down almost every week. Support is non existent, have never managed to speak to any of them on the phone, neither they call back. Today again, their system is down and I can not register new company, I can not believe they are still in business.....

Used to be a great service. Customer Support via telephone (which is what you NEED when you're doing your Payroll there and then) has whittled away into an e-mail service. Really a shame. I'm changing software ASAP.

We are a small company with less than 10 staff and have been successfully using the software for over 10 years. It is not necessarily intuitive and explanations would help it enormously. This may explain other reviewers complaints.

Every time you have to update your software, It makes a mess of your payroll which they then have to sort out. Try and get through to them is near impossible.

We used this software for one year as an alternative to Sage which had got itself too expensive. After the year we went back to Sage until we identified a cost effective alternative which we achieved.12Pay is clunky, cannot cope with individual pay elements as its set up more to run with regular routine payments week in week out. Reports were impossible to generate yourself, they had to send you the file.Overall, pretty poor interface, terrible flexibility and treated like an idiot by customer support.
