The service was very slow.Took over 90 minutes for starters to come. I had to tell 3 different people I had an allergy and what my order was, it seems very disconnected and disorganised. The waitress we had was pleasant and friendly. The food was okay, the starter was just a bowl of pigs in blankets, quite boring, no sauce no accompaniment it was a bit sad. The main pork belly, tasted nice, the pork was a bit over cooked and the amount of meat wasn't enough. Potatoes and cabbage and gravy all well seasoned, good flavours. Overall, it's okay, but I wouldn't rush back, for the price I don't think the experience matched the cost.

We came here for lunch. It's a big restaurant with additional seating upstairs. We were seated right away and ordered the butcher's brunch with a small side. It's large enough to share between two persons. We find it just a bit greasy. Our server was friendly.

My wife and I love visiting the cosy club. The atmosphere, decoration and staff are all very friendly. The cocktails are great!! And with the happy hour they are very reasonably priced. Big shout out to Alex behind the bar. A true professional putting Tom Cruise to shame. His cocktails are amazing. Recommend you try!!

Beautiful and intriguing decors. They've even got a small part of Roman ruins on the bottom floor.Excellent place to hangout with friends and have a chat. However the food needs improvement. The risotto I ordered was a bit too salty and the texture was too liquid for risotto (more like congee in china), and the add-on chicken was the worst of all.

Attended here for brunch. The interior and decor was beautiful and the service exceptional. I was disappointed with how only “one egg” was served with the vegetarian brunch. I only noticed this after and on the menu was specified as egg of your choice as opposed to eggs. I have visited many brunch places where a minimum of two eggs are always served with vegetarian options. The caramel latte was to die for and the halloumi fries were delicious. Would I recommend? For lunch and dinner probably but for breakfast Probably not as there are many other restaurants in Canterbury with better quality vegetarian breakfast options.

Incredible tasty food with a great ambiance. The staff was very friendly and alert. Can highly recommend. Also the prices were good! For children separate menu available. One side note;with the children dish: very little fries, that could be more...but we ordered extra.

Lovely change of scene with sumptuous decor. The food was ok, absolutely nothing wrong with it but nothing to write home about. We both had pancakes which were acceptable. I liked the fact that tea is served in pots and tap water readily available..these two things nowadays are a must IMHO.The service was excellent. I don't need to dress it up anymore than that..excellent, thankyou.I will definitely go again because it's one of the best places in Canterbury to chill out.Oh yes, the Roman remains on the bottom floor are a lovely surprise.
