Avoid purchasing at all costs, save your money,I had a problem with collapsed springs in a super king mattress it was eventually replaced, So that was great, but after less than 12 months the replacement feels the same if not worse. We Contacted Cookes Furniture who eventually told us, VI Spring have refused to send anyone out or do anything as there can't possibly be the same issue so quickly. . My Job is selling beds, My Partners job is selling beds, I consider ourselves to have a good understanding of beds, the problem with ours is not an isolated issue, I have had a few customers with the same problems, We sell all makes and types of beds, for many years, and although you are bound to get the odd problem here and there I have never come across someone like VI Spring claiming they can not have the same fault for a second time. We had the Fira representative come out, unfortunately he was new to the job, and beds, he kept calling it VI Sprung, This Bed new today is about £7000 I consider that to be a hell of a lot of money, and for that I would expect excellent service and quality, I am in absolute agony with my back, unless I move out of the area that is now void of all support even if though i flip It over regularly, there is only about a 1 foot area in the center of this 6 foot bed that feels OK,I'm not sure if its the mattress or the base but something needs to be done, The 25 year or lifetime guarantee is worth nothing, it should read 1 claim and then your on your own.Sending some with string and a tape measure to measure dip, tells you nothing about the support or condition of the springs underneath, if a cluster of springs have failed or even the steel in them has become weak, and like I tell customers, lying on a bed for minutes tell you nothing, it's why so many companies offer comfort guarantees. So how can a person, with a length of string and a stick in 30 minutes on a bed really tell you anything, whats the piont of making it up? All we want is a good night's sleep,According to the report the bed is fine and the correct tensions and it's just settlement, How on earth can settlement be the same as springs giving way, its a completely different issue and we know what settlement is, my side of the bed is meant to be firmer than my partners, and is so much softer in certain areas its terrible. Both of us feel that VI Spring, that we once considered to provide top quality beds and service, now just seem interested in taking your money and doing nothing for a customer if they have a problem, we've had a few Customers with the same issues and response, I would never buy or recommend VI Spring to anyone. Unless I disliked the person.Avoid purchasing at all costs, save your money

Hello Vispring - we bought your so called really high specked and very expensive Super King Mattresses (both through Furniture Village) and have had nothing but nightmare experiences. We had our first one which we had to change as massive dips formed in a matter of weeks? Even though we had to flip over as per instructions, This was a very frustrating experience as to complain to you was not an easy process. You insisted on sending an independent company to measure. We waited months fir your guy to arrive. He could see the dips , measured everything agreed to our face there was issues and reported back to you. You denied it was out of speck! Blah! So upon the Sales Managers advice at Furniture Village (who honoured our purchase) we changed the Model to an even more upgraded and more expensive Vispring Mattress. WRONG DECISION WE EVER MADE! Yet again after a few months Dips appeared and back aches, neck aches and nights and nights of uncomfortable sleeps we had enough! So after such a WASTE OF THOUSANDS OF POUNDS. We could stand no more. Your lifetime guarantee is not worth anything. We last month went and bought a “different” type of mattress through an online retailer and it is fabulous! Never again would I ever buy or recommend Vispring. Beware buyers!

After 18 happy years with a Vispring mattress we decided it was time to change. The salesperson in John Lewis convinced us to move away from our trusted brand and buy a John Lewis own-brand mattress made by Harrison Spinks. This turned out to be a very bad move. Very quickly after delivery the mattress started to deteriorate and was visibly collapsing. John Lewis sent out an independent assessor who confirmed that the mattress was faulty certainly not the quality you would expect from a £2300 mattress.Thankfully John Lewis agreed to replace the mattress and we immediately took the opportunity to return to Vispring. The quality difference is incredible, despite both mattresses being at the same price point. And the vispring mattress comes with a 30 year guarantee to boot.My advice - if you are looking at spending upwards of £2000 on a mattress don't look anywhere else other than Vispring, and certainly don't go anywhere near anything made by Harrison Spinks.

Excellent products and honourable long term customer service even many years after purchase. This company stands behind its brand and quality many years later where there’s a genuine issue. Highly recommend and best nights sleep ever. Worthwhile investment.

The mattress was delivered at 6:30am and hour and 15mins early. Without the mattress protectors!! By a man who complained about the stairs. None of the packaging was removed, nor was the old mattress removed. The mattress was also broken. Very very disappointing service and standards. Now waiting for furniture village to open to take my complaint further!! Very very poor service from Vispring!!

Based on our experience, I would not recommend buying a Vispring, in fact for the sake of your back(s) I wouldn’t even dream (no pun intended) of buying a Vispring!!! It will only give you nightmares.Sadly, we haven’t been as pleased with our mattress as other reviewers. We purchased a Vispring Herald Superb in August 2015 (this review written nearly 4 years later...) and we paid around £2000 for the mattress believing the quality assurances that it would serve us more than 10 years or so, and more so than that - the ‘lifetime warranty.......’After only 6 months it felt like the mattress was collapsing on the side that I slept, and gave the feeling of it trying to roll me out of bed all through the night. My side was ‘medium’, and my wife’s side was ‘soft’. My wife often has a sore/stiff back, so it’s not uncommon for her to wake in discomfort or slight pain. I am fortunate to not suffer with any sort of issues, normally....To combat the collapsing feeling that I was experiencing, the only thing I thought I could do was put an additional thin plank of wood along the edge underneath the mattress to bolster it - hey presto, resolved! Bear in mind, we paid something around £2k for this mattress that I had to bolster the edge on after only 6ish months...From that point until around 2 months ago, it has been ‘ok’, but only just ‘ok’ and not really felt like we were sleeping on a £2k mattress....Around 2 months ago, my wife started to complain a lot more, in fact every morning, of a sore back. Then I also started experiencing a sore back; we noticed that where our respective hips lay on each side of the mattress, it appeared that the springs had collapsed, and certainly felt when lying on it that there was no support under our hips, and in turn that was increasing the pressure on our lower portion of our backs. We regularly flipped the mattress, so we did this again, but this made no difference, in fact it seemed to make it worse. So we contacted our supplier who in turn contacted Vispring; and we felt assured that with the warranty that was in place something would be sorted. The first alarm bell that sounded in my head was when the person coming to inspect the bed couldn’t come for 10-15 days or so - This made me wonder if they got lots of complaints which was why they were so busy...?The second alarm bell that sounded in my head was when the ‘engineer’ turned up, and doing my usual thing of speaking with people, seeing where they come from, do they enjoy their job etc. etc. I established he didn’t actually work for Vispring, instead Vispring had subcontracted the inspection of our mattress to an external company (no doubt like they do for all I suspect..).Now, I suspect Vispring would waffle some words to suggest that this was how they could best serve/honour their ‘lifetime warranty’ by subcontracting the inspection of the mattresses out; & if they did, I wouldn’t believe that for a second - you have an external company hired by Vispring who want to stay employed by Vispring to do this work which Vispring are paying them for... so essentially they aren’t going to want to agree with the customer that there is a problem with the mattress because if they did they wouldn’t get the repeat business from Vispring. In legal terms, one would almost suggest this to be a conflict of interest.Anyway, as the inspection wasn’t going to happen for at least 10-15 days after our initial complaint, & we weren’t prepared to sleep on the Vispring for any longer than we absolutely had to, I bought a Simba mattress thinking we would use it, then return it within the 100 day trial period after our Vispring was fixed. Having now had the ‘inspection’, the Vispring will never be going back on our bed, ever!!! And the Simba will not be returned as it is exceptional compared to the Vispring!! And the Simba mattress was £1400 cheaper....I would never recommend anyone to spend their money on a Vispring. I’m not sure what to do with it now as I don’t even think our farm dog would want to sleep on it.
