My old Terrier, Bob was given a general examination and his ear irritation was investigated by the vet, Andrea. The examination and swabs were carried out very efficiently and with little distress to Bob. We had swabs tested while we waited and were prescribed appropriate treatment. Andrea gave very clear and concise instructions and a cost breakdown .. the bill seemed very reasonable . I'd certainly recommend James St Veterinary practice ..

My thanks to everyone at James Street vets. I had to take my chicken Mabel in to see them but unfortunately I had to make the decision to have her put to sleep. Andrew the vet was amazing and I can't thank him enough. So much kindness from the receptionists. I had her ashes back and also a foot Print which was so lovely and someone had also added a few feathers . I was so touched. . Such a great experience.

I was new to the area, I called them to register Rocco shih tzu with attitude, they took him on and he is loads better. A monthly visit for a painkiller injection and he is good. Can't fault them at all.

I am very impressed at the service provided at James Street Vets. All staff very efficient and friendly. My experience with the vets particularly Mariana has been exemplary. She is very thorough and compassionate. My kittens have just been neutered and my old dog is under constant observation. Last year I had to say goodbye to my poorly dog. They were so kind and caring. I will never forget the compassion shown. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending James Street vets.

Very disappointed with this practice. Recently on a Friday night our cat became ill and our own vet closed at 5. I rang James Street and was informed we could bring the cat at 12md on Saturday with a charge over£200 for a consultation. When questioned the receptionist said its an out of hours payment. I said but you are open till 1. She replied Yes but your own vet is closed.Daylight robbery springs to mind
