I seriously cannot recommend this place enough! Deserves 10 stars! Just wish my Barber back home was this good.One of the best haircuts I have ever gotten. I stopped in for a cut while visiting Scotland for a few weeks. Almost regret it now because the haircut I received was so much better than the one I get from my barber back home, I have no idea where I am going to find someone that does as good of a job as this place.This place really gave me the best haircut and experience:*Understood the style I was describing and did it perfectly*Amazing attention to detail*Efficient with time*Extremely polite and great conversation*Took me as a walk-in appointment without a waitEven gave some fantastic restaurant and sightseeing tips for Edinburgh

Owner (David) is a super nice guy, and prides himself on traditional barbering. I took my kids there and he was very patient with the youngest (2 years old) - helps that he has kids of his own. Whole cross-section of ages are welcome & catered for.Very smartly dressed staff!Only reason I ended up there was because I was in the area and my kids needed a haircut... I had no cash and this was the only one that took cards.I highly recommend.

I tried here on the recommendation of a mate. I wasn't sure if I was actually in a barbers. A free bottle of beer and a quick game of pool whilst waiting for my haircut! Davy gave me a great haircut and also suggested a change of style, which I'm delighted with. A very talented guy. I highly recommend you try him out.

Been living in the Gorgie area for a few years and tried pretty much every barber in Gorgie and never tried this one because it was convenient to go somewhere that did walk-ins. Now that I finally decided to book in for a haircut at Gorgie road barbers I can say that it is by far the best barber in Gorgie and I should’ve tried it a long time ago. Will definitely be back, the cut was great and the guy was very good at helping me to decide the style I wanted and making the place a comfortable environment, which can’t be said for some of the barbers in the surrounding area.

Great experience. He is a great bloke to have a chat with while giving you a 5 star haircut. This man is the reason to get a haircut. Great little atmosphere as well.

Moved up to uni a few months ago and needed to find myself a new barbers, came across this gem on Gorgie Road. Went in and was offered free beer with a good laugh. Absolute class trim from Davey as he fixed my hair up professionally and swiftly. Safe to say it’s worth the price and I’ll definitely be going back for the foreseeable future.
