Through the Dog's Eyes

We found Kit after doing a lot of research on different trainers, my partner knew after one phone call with her that she was the one for us and our new puppy!Me and my partner loved every training session with Kit but more so our golden retriever. It meant we were able to learn and understand him better - meaning all of our relationships improved.We are so thankful we completed the puppy training course and we are that pleased with the results we’re keen to sign him up for more.We could not recommend Kit more if we tried, she’s patient, kind, brilliant energy and informative. Woody can’t wait to get started on more training!!

Cannot recommend Sarah and Kit enough. The six week puppy training course is a great mixture of practical demonstrations, advice and time for you and your puppy to learn. Our puppy found the other dogs very distracting each week in the classes, which Sarah and Kit understood and knew how to deal with, so the follow up videos and explanations received each week were invaluable meaning that we could do the training at home when she was calmer.

We have just completed the Back to Basics course and it has been really useful for me and my dog.It allowed us to begin our training in a structured way and has been a brilliant way for me to bond with my dog.Not only that there, is a lot of information about dogs body language and behaviour which really allows you to see things from a dogs point of view and means you can modify your behaviour to further enhance a well rounded settled dog.Everything that is learnt is shared with easy videos to enable you to carry on with training at home.Although my puppy is doing really well at his training I have chosen to carry on with classes as I feel the benefits to me and my dog are totally worth the time and money spent learning from these ladies

Very knowledgeable and supportive trainers. The classes are small which is great as allows for 1-1 feedback. The private FB group is really useful for supportive videos of what was covered and helping in between sessions. We've already booked the next level course for our puppy

Twyla (one-year old golden) completed a number of courses with Through the dog's eyes, progressing through the different levels from when she was 5 months old until now. The trainers were patient, creative and very accommodating, always happy to adjust the exercises to meet Twyla where she was and sometimes that was just at the level of being a very stubborn golden. We really enjoyed the training and would recommend the classes to anybody with a puppy.

Oscar has completed the Puppy course and the Super Stars course with Through the Dog's Eyes and he will be starting the Mega Stars course soon. The training delivered is step by step, easy to follow and most importantly, positive reward based training. Oscar has become a confident and well mannered dog (mostly, he is still a cocker spaniel and therefore mental!) through the guidance and training of Kit and Sarah. As an owner I have learned skills and tools to help me keep control of my boy in a whole host of everyday situations and to harness his abundance of energy for training. I couldn't recommend Through the Dog's Eyes highly enough and we will certainly be continuing our training with them. Excellent trainers!

First class puppy training! The classes are more than teaching your puppy commands - Kit and Sarah really help you to understand your puppy's behaviour, and how to respond to it. Classes are fun for humans and pups alike - my puppy couldn't wait to get into the room! I signed up for the 2nd course straight away!

Amazing! We did the back to basics training. Always make sure the dogs have enough space so they aren’t overwhelmed. We even had a dog in our group that barked a lot so they created a barrier for him so him and his owners could focus on training. We have three dogs so wanted our newest member 7 month old Lily to be well trained so it was easier to manage. We’re that pleased with the training that we’ve also booked on to the new course of Superstars training. Looking forward to Lily becoming a trained superstar!

Very professional and very friendly business. I contacted them initially to understand what class would be most appropriate. I was contacted by Kit and we discussed my dog, where he was up to and what I wanted out of classes, this helped me to then decide what class to attend.I opted for the Super Stars course which on reflection was probably the most appropriate for my dog and I. Kit and Sarah made everyone very welcome and as I had not attended the basics course like others attending they would update me on any elements that would help and get me up to speed.Kit and Sarah are super knowledgeable and are very encouraging and tailor suggestions and levels of skill depending on the individual dogs. I will be signing up for the mega stars course and would recommend Through the dogs eyes to anyone looking to introduce or re-introduce training.
