Had a takeaway from fishnchickn on Friday and it was great arrived at the shop to order and collect at what I thought would be dinner rush hour about 6pm, however everything was organised and in hand so the process was very smooth! Order 3 meals and came to £27 which was great value for a large fish and chips, jumbo sausage and large chips and a seniors fish and chips with mushy peas. Batter to the fish was light and fluffy and tasted great the pieces of fish were great and the chips were thoroughly doused in salt & vinegar as they should be. Overall great takeaway with great service and food.

Very clean, great fish n chips and the young lady whom served me was so lovley. 1974 it was her suggestion I get my dad the senior meal at a really good price.

To begin with £5.90 for a chip butty and curry. Is a splash of curry on top for like £1 extra not good enough, need to be charge £2.70 for a pot of curry. Thought fine I'll just take the hit. I either left a trail of chips behind or that is a shocking portion of chips. I know its getting harder for companies but that is a joke of a portion.

The portion sizes here have shrunk dramatically and the chips are not cooked nicely. I have noticed that most negative comments receive a reply informing that the operations manager will investigate. What is never provided is what the operations manager is going to do with the feedback to improve their offering.

£7.40 for a large chips which came in a box and curry sauce. Made to wait 10mins for it too despite fresh chips ready to go. You should be ashamed to serve that to the local community.

Pricey. Large chips, medium cod and curry sauce for £16.Food was ok, not amazing. I was expecting a bit more of a wow factor for the price.All food came in boxes. Why? Just use paper. Waste of cardboard and I’m sure it adds to the price.Waiting time was a bit long. 3 minutes before I was even acknowledged. Probably won’t be using this place again. Disappointing.

Use to be a really nice chippy, but there just a joke now. Been going 7 years and only had two problems but this time was it. Medium that looked like a small child s cod. Disgusted even the girl on the till said how small it was. If I didn't live so far away I would of went back and got a refund. Disgusted, Disappointed and let down

The food is expensive but decent but the service is beyond awful. There is a screen to order from but it never seems to work, though there’s no sign on it to tell you not to waste your time. I ended up ordering online instead as the queue was so slow. The collection time was 5 minutes later but in fact even 25 minutes later my order, which was not complicated, was still not ready. The staff serving all seemed very inexperienced and mostly confused. Dreadful experience.
