The Union Building

This place is great for cocktails before a shopping trip and the views are amazing. Staff all friendly and helpful on making a decision to what you would like to drink. Price not too bad on par with most places. Worth a visit.

Staff were helpful. Lotsa places to sit, eat (variety of food), have group discussions,.Student friendly. I got stuck between exit doors for a min though & I didn't know how to get out.

Good building space but no one 'manning' the desk to let me in.Also the bins were overflowing and vending machines didn't display prices and had no milk for hot drinks.

DO NOT GET AN OFFICE HERE! The owner is a tyrant. If anyone knows of him, you'll know the stories (they're all true)!

Rather unprofessional approach to business. Attended today for a prearranged appointment to be shown around as a potential new client and after walking across the city in the pouring rain was told on arrival (after ringing as reception was empty), that as they were short staffed and the building was leaking it wouldn't be possible for at least another hour. I'm not sure there was even an apology, more of here's how it is

Given the fact that the institution is located in a fairly prestigious area. And I think that the service should work more professionally. We were not offered a warm blanket, nor was we offered to sit in a more comfortable room. Dark, warm room. I was told that it was rather cold in the other room. I also do not understand the work or some kind of stoves, which, in fact, did not heat anything, it was cold enough, as well as the waiters, who were quite a lot, did not pay proper attention. Also no one even asked. Did we like the food and everywhere us well. They just pretended as if we were sitting on some kind of completely strangers or people who were sitting on some kind of bench, which, in fact. We don't care. It was unpleasant for me to be in such an atmosphere, and I do not think that I will come here again.What surprised me the most? This, of course, is that every 5 minutes people from the kitchen dragged dirty, linen, dishes and many other things across the entire hall where people were sitting. That is, we sat right in the place where we constantly wore something. I mean, it was just annoying. It was just some kind of horror.

Never! Ever! Use the car park here! The landowners use underhand ANPR tactics to fine you! Avoid!If you do not have cash to pay, their machine does not take card payments, if you leave because you have no change, you will get a 'Ticket'! Absolutely Scandalous! Using Entrapment techniques to 'Charge' drivers! Avoid like the plague!!!

Had afternoon tea at the Rooftop Terrace. Lovely sandwiches and cakes, with a delicious Cosmopolitan - couldn't eat all the cakes.Only on 6th floor so no amazing views but lovely surroundings. Attentive and pleasant staff. Recommend for a special treat.

I visited the Rooftop Gardens. The food was amazing. The staff were friendly. A tad on the expensive side. However an up market place which welcomed anyone and made them feel comfortable.

Disappointed with this visit the meal I had was £34 for which I had a good fillet steak but what accompanied it was poor with a bit of watercress and the potatoes dry and not very tasty. It was a wedding anniversary surprise from my husband so very disappointing. Don't think I would go back ☹️
