I am writing to comment on the 1 star review by Michelle Cooper. Full disclosure - I am Martin's son.He remembers this episode rather differently.Having made a judgement on the sort of people they were he told them he would not be working for them as they were not going to get on. I suspect the review was written as a result of sour grapes."He has hundreds and hundreds of regular customers who know they are always welcome to call in or telephone for helpful advice."

Rude ,obnoxious, disrespectful and very unprofessional.

We bought a house a year ago with a pool and knew nothing about them. The owner of the Pool Shop came around, spent an hour explaining how pools work, chemicals required, maintenance, cleaning etc. He's often given us useful advice over the phone and will drop off chemicals + an invoice at our front door when we need more supplies. In general, we've found him helpful. We decided on a new pool cover which his son fitted and was equally prompt and helpful.
