We had a lovely lunch and this was helped by friendly and hard working staff. Alex was attentive and made sure we all had everything we needed with a smile. He made it special and recognised it was a special occasion to eat out.It’s good for large groups so we will return again and again.

Service 10/10 friendly and warm people.Pub environment was 10/10. Plenty of space with tables inside and outside.Fish and chips was very good 8/10Maple glazed pork belly 7.5/10Deserts:Apple crumble 9/10Chocolate bomb 11/10. I cannot recommend it more. This desert is on another level!

We had our Elements Yoga Studio Christmas dinner at the Oatsheaf . There were 32 of our staff and members in total . We preordered from the Festive Menu. Everyone gave the food and service a top rating. Thank you so much to the team in the kitchen for producing this top quality meal. A massive thank you to Alex and his team who made sure we were all looked after throughout the evening. We all loved the experience and will be back.

Went there with work for Xmas mealThey greatly exceeded my expectations. Really high quality food and excellent friendly service. They really delivers the best Christmas works meal I have ever had. Good atmosphere too

Lovely pub to have lunch with family. Great size, fantastic decor and charm. Decent food, and the chef even agreed to cook our daughter's chicken nuggets so they looked similar to a famous high street brand in order to encourage her to eat them.Staff brought drinks to our table as well once we'd sat down as a group so great service.Beware of the parking charges - the pub car park is only free for paying customers, a fact which I did not notice on the day of our visit and subsequently received a parking fine from Euro Car Parks. Thankfully Alex at the Oatsheaf was extremely helpful and got the charges removed because we were paying customers.

We had an excellent service the waiter Helen was excellent! Happy and friendly and nothing was any trouble when we asked and went above and beyond her way to make our evening an excellent time! We would definitely come again and it was the weekend to do can bd very busy

Had a lovely lunch here. Staff very friendly and attentive. Lots of choice on the menu.Didn't have the Christmas menu but options looked good.

Amazing service and friendly staff. Big shout out to Melissa and Charlotte!Lovely atmosphere to have a read and also get work done while also having a nice chat with staff!Food was also lovely, I hugely recommend the linguine with scallop's they will not disappoint!!!!

Food was amazing however the. Service was awful. Food took so long to come out, we waited about an hour for our mains and it took nearly an hour for our desserts to come which seems rather strange and we were left with our dirty plates on the table for a long time after we’d finished. No one asked how anything was and i5 was very difficult to get anyone’s attention to ask for anything we needed.
