Started out very helpful and responsive.Then the car broke down, and after several weeks was fixed. But it was returned with windows no longer working. I called, texted and emailed with no response. After a few months of nothing, I went to a different garage and paid to have it fixed. That garage also found that something under the car had not been fastened well and could have slipped into the wheel while driving. And they found that the rear brakes were missing the pins.Tony seems like a great guy at first, but I was very disappointed to suddenly be faced with such bad service and to find out from a different garage that my car had potentially dangerous faults to it, that seemed to have been caused by the previous mechanics.

My mobility scooter had a puncture, I rang a couple of garages and nobody could fix it, I rang ID coachwork and they said come straight down, it was sorted in 30 minutes for £12 including vat. Very friendly service and excellent staff, Calvin.

Great service when buying a car. Offering better customer service and deals than national chains and always happy to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend using this company to buy a vehicle. Really happy with car I purchased and would not hesitate to use again.

AVOID THIS GARAGE. Completely incompetent and unprofessional. We bought a Peugeot 208 from this garage in April, the next week had an engine light come up, and then they had to car for the next 5 MONTHS trying to fix it (during which time we were constantly asking for updates and being given different problems that had come up. We do understand that issues arise but this took the piss). During that time we were provided 2 courtesy cars, the first of which broke down and required recovering and the second they had declared SORN resulting in us being stopped by the police in it (also meaning we were driving with void insurance). After starting a process with trading standards we were offered a different car which we took to get done with it all - this was September. Now a few months down the line we have just received a fine in the post to say that the car we part-exchanged for the Peugeot back in April has been seized by police - so when we handed in the log book it would seem that they didn’t bothered registering the new owner. Totally incompetent.

Fantastic experience. With buying a car during lockdown Banks of the Tyne were very helpful and kept me updated the whole way through. The sale was stress free and I was never pushed into a sale. The car is absolutely fantastic and has no faults, I woukd highly recommend.

Bought a car from them last week due to the extreme weather it would not start. They came out took the car back for repair (new glow plugs) returned it the same day .excellent service and very friendly helpfully staff

Would not recommend this garage for cars bought my car 3 months ago and been up the the garage 5 times to get it fix then I would drive away and there would be another problem one of them was my engine. They done the MOT before I got the car as-well and that was not done correctly. Would not even call this a garage would just call it a scam. DO NOT GO TO THIS GARAGE!!!

No pressure salesmen. Slight issue after sale promptly put right. Would highly recommend
