Cambridge Gun Club

We (group of 10) had a great time here with a taster session.The 2 instructors were brilliant and patient with some of our guys who had never used a gun before. I've have been to other shooting ranges before and been made to feel uncomfortable with the instructors. These guys are professional but friendly, just the blend.

Excellent Experience..!!! I Booked the Full Bore Rifle have a go session with the Gold Package and what a fantastic experience. The booking process was very simple and straight forward, and the staff very helpful. I have not shot any gun in 30 years and was a little apprehensive and nervous about what to expect however on the day of the session I was met by the instructor Martin, who guided me through the range safety procedures and then explained each rifle in a simple and easy to understand manner. The range itself is 100 yards and the rifles shot were the .22 .223 and .308. Martin was very informative and explained about each rifle and the bullets used as well as the telescopic sights on each rifle, along with his sense of humour and wit the whole experience very relaxing and enjoyable, Martin is a very knowledgeable and professional instructor. The members of the club also shooting on the same range were all very friendly and made you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this club and its have a go session full bore rifle shooting. I enjoyed it that much that I will be booking the shooting safety modules with a view to obtaining my FAC and becoming a full club member.Thank you to everyone at Cambridge Gun Club 5 stars all the way..!!!

My son and I completed a safety transition course there recently for their full bore 100 yard rifle range. Well organised, safe and friendly. Worth a visit. Good value. Cafe does a lovely breakfast and lunch.

I recently completed the intensive rifle course at Cambridge Gun Club with Mac as my instructor.I can honestly say it was fantastic! Mac’s knowledge is second to none and his teaching ability is excellent. The whole process from Lauren in the office through to course completion was helpful, informative and very friendly helping me feel comfortable on the range and most of all safe.I would recommend the course and the club to anyone who is looking to begin their shooting journey.

Booked a taster air rifle session for my 11 year son and I, involving a good natured competition with the two other people the range. Which my son won on his first ever time shooting! Tuition by the as ever excellent Mac.Superb homemade brownie and oat and raisin cookie from the cafe.Most enjoyable and will definitely be going again

Had a brilliant time on the Gold Shooting experience with my brother for my birthday. Got the chance to shoot. 22, .223 and .308 with Mac. Instruction was great, safety was top notch and had a great time.

Went here with 4 other people and had a great time with the taster session, tutored by Mac. We shot three different types of rifle at 6 inch targets 100 yards away. What a lovely way to spend the morning. The whole thing was extremely well organised, very well supervised with safety foremost. Been clay pigeon shooting before at other grounds which was good but this place full bore rifle experience was next level. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming.The instructor Mac is absolutely brilliant! Very professional but relaxed instruction and gave some really good tips that instantly improved my shots. He absolutely made the day!I will 100% be going back. Can't recommend this place enough.Edit: I've revisited multiple times and now met everyone at this place. All absolutely great & all welcoming people, from the owner and his wife right through to the girls in the cafe! It's a long journey for me to visit, but I can't imagine going anywhere else now. The breakfast and fresh coffee is amazing here as well!

Took my two boys for the gold shooting package today. Martin (our instructor) was knowledgeable & friendly focusing on my youngest as he's never shot before. Forgot how much I enjoyed shooting and my boys had a good couple of hours. Will defiantly be going back soon and if possible will be asking for Martin if he's available.
