Always had a good experience here. Plenty of drinks to choose from. Especially on draft.Had food once and it was your typical pub food. Prices are alright and they have offers on certain days. There's plenty of places to sit including a nice little area outside that gets the sun in the evening. There is more seating upstairs along with pool tables.Only issue I've had is only 1 bar staff when it was busy. Waited around 10mins to be served. Which isn't ideal, especially when people end up pushing in.This place is wheelchair and kid friendly. However when I was there last, the disabled toilet door/lock was broken and there is only one disabled toilet downstairs. The toilet are up stairs.

Steve made us feel welcome he was friendly and his customer service was amazing. We were made to feel welcome and we were served quickly. We didn’t eat there so I can not comment on the food.

Very busy pub. The service for food was prompt. The all-day breakfast was fantastic. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable. If you find yourself near Yates in Liverpool and are peckish, it's worth popping in.

The female bar tender/waitress was very rude and dismissive. Her attitude was shocking. Service of food took forever. Bar manager with the long hair wasn't interested in a complaint. Wouldn't recommend.

We went for breakfast and when walking in the staff were stood at the bar chatting and didn’t even acknowledge us, my partner ordered food on the app/ QR code and without even a single word a member of staff came over with the drinks and plonked them down. Soon after the food came out and again not a word to be spoken by the staff even after we thanked her, the food was barely cooked, egg whites were still snotty, bacon was raw and the hash browns were soaked in grease and the ‘toast’ was just dry bread. There was a constant alarm beaconing on and off and the most interesting part of our visit was watching the man paint the windows. As we left we thanked the staff and we received nothing but an eye brow raise and a look like we had 3 heads each.

Went for breakfast, literally everything on the plate was undercooked and cold. Also ordered a glass of orange juice and they gave me watered down OJ. I mean if they water down orange juice I’d hate to know what they do with the alcohol…Feeling absolutely sick to the stomach after eating that trash.

Never again. The chef 1st of all needs to go to cookery lessons to learn on how to cook. Ordered steak for my Fiancée the other week, to be cooked well done, got served raw wen cut into it with blood also coming out of it. Sent it back, came back again raw and blood coming out of it. Got my money back in the end. Not blaming the bar staff at all as they were nice and friendly, what was worse the chef never even had the decency to come out to apologise which i think is a disgrace and the kitchen needs to be seriously be looked at especially with not even having an oven or ovens which any chef would normally use. Good job I wasn't Chef Ramsey, the rest is history on what the outcome will be.
