The Dentinator

Dave rescued my golf from a disastrous encounter with my kitchen scrubber. The bonnet and roof were horrendously scratched and after three days my car looks as good as new. Dave was the consummate professional, an excellent communicator, he finished the job ahead of schedule and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Unprofessional and rude. Called Dave to get a quote. I sent the photos as requested. He was quick to provide a quote but the price was too much for us. I replied back saying thanks for the quick replay but price was too high. Dave replied being rude and made wrongly stereotypical comments based on the car we had. There was no need. I tried replying but he blocked me. That’s not how you treat people. Absolutely uncalled for and I would not recommend to even try and get a quote.

The Dentinator did an absolutely fantastic job on my doors which were dented and scratched pretty terribly, he managed to make the car as good as new. He was reasonably priced, very friendly and excellent at communicating throughout the process, efficiently responding to messages. I couldn't recommend Dave's services enough. I had several scratches and a not insignificant dent on my front right wheel arch. I took it to a body shop and they quoted £4500 (which they admitted was very expensive but they'd want to take all the panels off and fit them as new). Many of the other chip and dent services said they wouldn't be able to fix it as a mobile call out, and I'd need to take it to a shop. I contacted Dave and he quoted £690 for the work, which was substantially lower than the other body shop.Dave actually swung by a day early to look at the car and did a bit of work there and then, he came back the next day and finished the job within a couple of hours. As you can see from the pictures, the car looks good as new. I was really impressed with the speed and quality of the work and as someone who doesn't typically know much about cars, Dave talked me through everything and even offered to buff out a few other marks and scratches for free, as well as fitting a new plastic wheel trim I've purchased.Extremely pleased with the work and whilst I hope I won't need his services again, I'd use Dave again in a heartbeat. 5 stars!

After contacting Dave for a quote that turned out to be a bit to expensive for me right now, Dave decided it was worth being confrontational. I said OK thanks ....to which he replied what does that mean " and then accused me of treating him like a jerk. I checked out several dent fixers in terms of price and likely competence before deciding on The Dentinator - which included reading a lot of reviews in depth, several declined to take it on, declaring - damage too severe, or were overpriced.As David was very busy and it was a more challenging repair, I had to wait a fortnight before he could start. It was well worth the wait as he did a beautiful job, with the added bonus of Dave being a nice guy, and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended. Pictures - before/after included.
