Glencoe Youth Hostel
I was quite exhausted and also forgot shopping. Thomas, the manager, let me check in earlier and also was very helpful with getting dinner and breakfast. He has great knowledge about the near and far area. He booked for me as well the stay in Glasgow. We had some great conversations. Location and staff are fantastic. Highly recommended

Glencoe Youth Hostel
The facilities were very clean and tidy and in good working order.I arrived on a damp dark day and yet Thomas, the host, provided a warm welcome and good humour. He made sure I wanted for nothing and was great conversation throughout the stay.While the village of Glencoe felt over a walk away, I didn't need to venture far as the community vibe created by the space and guests was enjoyable. There is also a good looking pub for grub and drink a comfortable walk away.I can thoroughly recommend as a stop if you're exploring the area as an outdoor enthusiast. The location very much has a hideaway feel. So, if you're looking for the feel of a wilderness escape without the inconvenience attached, this is the place is perfect for you.

Booked in with three other people our first issue was an overcharge on the payment what we had on paper from the booking was more expensive according to the manager. Didn't really want to help to much on the issue, while were on management Thomas is like death warmed up never met a so slow moving manager in my life. The room for four men was just so tiny no good at all looked nothing like what the website described. On to the beds if you like sleeping on slabs of slate this is the place for you. The young lady in the evenings needs a promotion as Uncle Fester has expired.Pros.There wasn't any.ConsThere was hot water but the showers were alive..Towels are not free but if your small enough the hand dryer would work.Beds if you lay in these more than a few nights you will end up in a wheelchair.The heat OMG i woke on a couple of occasions thinking i was in the bahamas.I think someone needs to re look at the place and have a word in uncle festers ear..I doubt i will be back...

Glencoe Youth Hostel
Was stranded overnight after an accident on the A82 meant my bus never came. This hostel had a bed for me, very last minute, and Luke at the desk was so helpful and friendly. Lovely spot, very clean and homely. Will probably come back and stay again in better circumstances

It is a good hostel. It is comfortable and it has a big kitchen and dining area with a nice warm lounge. The only thing that made it a 4 is probably the fact that it only has 1 bathroom and that the environment isn't as nice as other youth hostels.

Glencoe Youth Hostel
We stayed at the hostel for 2 days on our trip to Scotland. Its a very nice place to stay as its away from the city hustle and one can explore the Glencoe area from the hostel. Its quite cheap and has good facilities. Has well maintained common washrooms and rooms are very tidy as well. Rooms might be a touch small I guess but it should be fine for most people. Has a very good common Kitchen with all amenities and well kept.

Absolutely AWFUL! not good. overpriced breakfast laods of rubbish, lady at the desk absolutely disgraceful should not be allowed tow ork in the hospitality industerie with her level of inexperience. Also, three youths stayed in the same dorm as me and would not shut up. playing their videos all night and talking as well as badness.

As hostels go, this is great value given its location but its tired. Room 10 had an amazing view, bed was clean, but was itself, dingy. The bunk bed was sqeaky, the under bed storage wouldnt close without a fight & a single bed placed across the path out of the dorm was a hazzard should you have to leave the room during the night. The room was above the front door so could be noisy with guests coming & going.It was shared men/women toilets & shower rooms, I really didnt like that.The kitchen/dining room was ok, served its purpose.

Glencoe Youth Hostel
Really nice location, about 30 minutes from the bus stops but the walk from Glencoe Crossroads is quite pretty. The staff are kind and helpful. The shared spaces are very clean and well-kept. The shower pressure can be a bit tricky, so try to shower at off-peak times when others are not using them. We have stayed at several Hostelling Scotland locations and always have a great experience!

Glencoe Youth Hostel
Is more then a hostel. Great stay and friendly staff.We had a fantastic night in the camping pod.For use: drying room and bike store.Thank you!
