Louise Troy Make-up and Hairstyling

Louise was an absolute joy to work with! I don’t usually wear make up and was really worried about wearing makeup on my wedding day but from my first call to on the morning of, Louise did everything to put me at ease and was so lovely the entire time! I have never felt more beautiful in my life!

Louise has done my hair and makeup a few time now and every time she does an incredible job. Today she washed, cut and blow dried my hair. I'm going to leave some pictures down below, I wish I had taken a before photo because my hair was a mess and Louise has made it look lovely. I would highly recommend Louise, she is brilliant. Im not a very confident person and have never really liked how I look but Louise transformed me. My hair and make up has never looked soo good, I really felt beautiful. She had a very calming and friendly nature, I felt like she really took her time and it didn't fell rushed at all, it was sooo relaxing.

Louise Troy did my makeup for a branding photoshoot and I am so pleased I chose her.I don't usually wear much makeup and Louise listened and carried out what I wanted so perfectly. I had never had my make-up professionally done, I think I can do it ok myself but decided to join in with my daughter and the bridesmaids for her wedding. Louise is kind, helpful, and efficient and boy does she take make-up to another level. The skill involved is amazing, I think credit is rarely given for just how much artistry/craft/science there is, and the years of learning (and teaching) which Louise has spent certainly makes her the consummate professional. The contouring, blending, and I'm sure a bit of magic, really took 10 years off me. Louise also did my hair, styled it into a wonderful up-do that lasted all night long, as did the make-up. I still looked fabulous at 1am the next morning. To walk my daughter down the aisle, knowing I looked the best I could, gave me extra confidence to enjoy the day with our family and friends. Needless to say, my beautiful daughter the bride, and the 3 bridesmaids all looked gorgeous too. Thank you so much Louise, you made me feel fantastic for one of the happiest days of my life.

I am so thankful that I chose Louise to do my hair and make-up for my wedding day. From the moment of contact, Louise's communication was exceptional. As someone who doesn't wear much make-up day-to-day, she really took on board my wishes for a natural look. The trial appointment was amazing, Louise explained what she was doing and checked that I was happy throughout. I never felt that she was rushing to finish the appointment at any time. Not only is Louise an exceptionally talented hair and make-up artist but she is clearly a lovely person. She has an amazingly calm presence which I really needed on the morning of my wedding. Louise is very easy to talk to - she really listens. She was very creative and had good ideas but wanted to make me happy with the looks, rather than having set ideas. I love the way she used the natural texture and volume of my hair when creating the two looks for our couple's shoot. She worked with what I have rather than trying to rewrite me! Would really recommend for anyone who wants to have their look enhanced and improved for a special occasion. Louise provides a refreshingly personalised service in what can be a 'copy-and-paste' look industry. Plus she's just lovely!

For my wedding, Louise did a beautiful make up look. We had a trial a few weeks prior to consider the outfit, hair and accessories, and ensure there was consistency in my look. I don't ordinarily wear makeup, so her input was certainly needed; though she consulted me at every step. The morning of, she worked professionally around the hustle and bustle of my bridesmaids getting ready. It stayed in place all day (considering I tend to rub off any makeup I intermittently apply, this in saying something!) By the 12th hour and many hours of dancing, it looked suprising put together. I'm so pleased I could put my trust in Louise and if you have any reservations about doing your own makeup before the photographs start, I would recommend you do the same.
