Brought a little run around car from the dealership. After 1 year and a maximum 2000miles done. I had my car MOT’d to find the sub frame was rotten. From numerous MOT inspectors opinions the car shouldn’t have passed it MOT the year before… or at least it should have had an advisory mentioning corrosion. But because my car wasn’t parked in a bath of sea water, they doubt it corroded that significantly over the year. Great to know when you’ve been driving your young kids around this a clapped out death trap. Certainly learnt a lesson here. Don’t buy from this dealership again!!!

Light buld needed changed and the guys over at Richmond changed it there and then. Before starting their day. Top service and cracking customer service.

Our family has purchased a total of 5 cars so far from Gavin at Swale Autos (site 2), my husband and I having just traded in our car with him again. Excellent service as usual, friendly, knowledgeable and nothing too much effort, quality vehicles to choose from. Daughters, grandson and us would recommend very highly to anyone looking to buy a car. Don't look elsewhere, Site 2, you won't go wrong here.

READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE THINKING OF BUYING ANYTHING.....I contacted them regarding a Golf Estate with a couple of basic questions & never got a reply,obviously not in need of the sale.The classic reply of we searched all our platforms etc & found no contact seems to have been used many times over the years".Registration hidden on majority of cars so you can't do your own checks."

My front number plate came off after I hit a flood on the way home. Called Swale Auto Services in Richmond the next morning as they are close to where I work, popped in at the end of the day and they fixed it as soon as I arrived, no charge. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Really cheery receptionist and the guy who fixed my number plate was great. Would definitely use them again.

Mis-sold me an absolute wreck. Refusing refund. In breach of consumer rights!!! Rude, abrasive in response. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!

Poor selection of cars, most overpriced.They took my old car off me, with a minimal reduction on the car I was buying, because I explained that my old car had failed its MoT and was beyond repair. 2 weeks later, they had my old car up for sale on their website. I feel sorry for whoever bought that car, because they'll have an MoT failure on their hands.Avoid this place at all costs.

After I took delivery of my car back in May, I left a favourable review for Site 2 in Brompton On Swale.About a month ago, the car developed an engine management fault, displaying a yellow light on the dash. Although this did not affect the performance, I took it back to Site 2 who tried to rectify the problem. They kept the car for a few days, giving me a courtesy vehicle. A fault could be not be traced and was put down to the car not being given a regular long run on the motorway. After being put on a diagnostic machine, the fault was cleared. A few days later, after summarily taking onboard the advice about giving the car a good run, the engine fault returned. I went back to Site 2 and informed them what had happened. Andy was the only one there and kindly informed me that he would get Gavin to contact to discuss further.As of yet, no phone calls have been forthcoming to discuss the matter and my car is still under the six months warranty.This has slightly tarnished my view of Swale Autos and I am thinking that I may have to go to another repairer to fix the issue.

Bought a £7000 car that needed a new exhaust which they were supposed to do when they MOTed it when I bought it. Turns out they just welded on the old one to bodge it through it’s MOT and it’s now not able to be removed to change the oil sump (which was also found to be corroded on its first MOT at a genuine honest garage). I had a 6 month warranty where they were supposed to fix any issues with it - within the first week I had a knocking when breaking because the break pads were completely corroded, and when I took it in the owner made me feel guilty for him to have to spend money to change them, and told me ‘he would’ve just lived with the noise’. I then paid another garage to get its next issue fixed despite it being under warranty because I didn’t want to have to deal with the owner again. A year since buying it, it hasn’t even made it through it’s first MOT. Will never buy from them again. One star for nice sales man.
