I’m currently at The Ship in Edern on the Llŷn Peninsula, Gwynedd, North Wales. Hinkypunk ale has been a main feature of the pub/restaurant for some time. It’s always excellent. I had no idea (until now) that the stuff originates in Garston. Keep up the good work.Sorry I didn’t realise you’d started near here originally. I’ve also had other Big Bog brews at The Ship in the past. Again, keep on doing what you’re doing !!

If you'd told me a year ago I would be sitting in a car park on an industrial estate drinking beer and loving it I wouldn't have believed you. Real ale, good and friendly service (service is a bit slow, they are getting new systems up and running post lockdown easing, be patient!) Prices very reasonable (a round of 6 drinks, 4 pints and two gin and tonics came to just over £18) Get the 82 bus or train to Hunts Cross, walk from the station is around a mile. Had a very lovely and relatively 'normal' drinking experience

A rare out of town location to drink nice real ale, over 20 different types of gin, all made in the brewery, on a Friday night. Deservedly the 2023 CAMRA North West regional winner for Quagmire.

Great range of ales at a good price, I got 4 litres for £16, only opened the spring bog so far, excellent ale, I'll be back as they say
