National Tyres and Autocare - a Halfords company

Couldn't 4 wheel align my car, guy making all sorts of excuses why it couldn't be done. Went to another garage and the 4 wheel alignment was done no problem. I won't be using again.

After having a blow out on the M1 whilst travelling on holiday, Halfords recommended this place.On the day I visited they were under staffed and fully booked yet they moved stuff around to help get us back on the road to our holiday.They were extremely friendly, Helpful and life savers.5 Stars does not do this place justice, should be 10 stars.

BE AWAREWent in for an MOT and service. My car needed repairs, followed by more repairs (they phoned to say they had found something else) so it was on the ramp for most of the day.I later received a parking ticket. I had not been directed to the posters or screen to log parking details when in store. I appealed and sent details of my invoice, but the appeal was rejected. When I phoned and spoke to the store manager, he was abrupt and said that the only thing he could do was email the parking provider and ask them to cancel. Needless to say, nothing came from this.I emailed National Tyres and the parking provider myself and, despite NT saying they will get back to you within 48 hours, I still heard nothing a week later. I have got in contact again, but I'm not holding out much hope for a response. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a customer service agent on their website.I am disappointed and will not be using National Tyres again. I would strongly advise anyone else to go elsewhere based on this experience and the poor aftercare you receive if you need to contact their customer service department.

I would like to that all the guys at Northampton branch for the speedy diagnosis and repair of my daughters fiesta . Had previously gone to another branch of nationals , they had it for a week and did not even touch it . Northampton got it straight in and discovered that a wheel bearing had gone . Rectified within 3 hours and also solved a long going issue with the TPMS . Well done and thanks . Dan , Ross and Neil

The best garage in Northampton, but when you come to deal with head office or customer service, the worst in UK.. will try to explain in the shortest way. I did bought tyres which cost 1.2k with their option Payment Assist. So apparently I have ordered wrong size for the rear. I have got a call from the garage who explain to me nicely that the tyres does not fit and when I came we shall cancel the appointment and I will have to make a new order. So this has happened at 22/11. On 23 I am trying to make a new order, but the website does not let me to do payment through the payment assist as I have already one which is high. (still not cancel everything) After 50 mins waiting on the line on 23 i made a contact with operator from customer service. I did explain what my case is and the lady has said no worries I will get this sorted for you and tomorrow you would be able to do order. Next day I am not able to do order. Then I have called Payment assist and they said did not have anything come through from National Tyres…Then Christmas days, bank holiday they hadn’t work. After that I have called again NT customer service and again after an hour waiting some guy picked up, have a look into my case saying Yes, ive seen your records and I will get this done for you. Guess what, so far nothing been done or send to Payment Assist.. as I contact again them and the said to me still no news from National Tyres. I wont say more as this is more than enough to see what a poor customer service they have provide.. I am happy from the garage and the way they work, I have changed tyres of my second car 2 weeks ago and they done really good job, but customer service is the worst I ever face.

I had a free suspension check at National Tyres and Autocare as part of the Halfords on line app.Daniel and Neil checked my car and provided feedback. Quick, efficient and friendly service.Used this garage twice now and will definitely use it again.

They squeezed me in when I got the time wrong for my retest. Much appreciated!!

Absolutely horrible, Beware of them!They assumed I did not know my car and thought they could break the rear shock absorber during a free suspension" check. I can only assume that they hoped I would pay them to fix it.I am left with a broken car now

Travelling between Newcastle and Reading for funeral and had issue with tyre pressure warning light. Phoned and they were able to look straight away. All sorted and back on the road. Thanks for prompt, professional service.
