I wish I had looked at the reviews before going. It’s been an incredibly frustrating experience. As someone else mentioned, it seems less a business and more one man in an office. I had my fitting appointments for my orthotics in February, and then radio silence. I had to call and email multiple times to get an invoice, and even when he finally called back to say he would do so I still had to email to remind him to send the invoice. I still have not yet received my insoles and am furious at the lack of contact. I was told they’d be ready in March. It’s almost June. Give me my insoles.

First time I've actually taken the time to get my feet issues looked a, I've had very painful corns & callulas. was a little nervous, but was immediately made to feel very relaxed and comfortable, didn't feel a thing and walked out with no pain and some good advice for future foot care. 100 recommend the clinic.

I highly recommend the Oxford foot and ankle center. Dr Thomas O'Riordan is very knowledgeable and I felt 100% at ease throughout my initial appointment and subsequent nail surgery. I wish I had gone sooner! If you have ingrown nails, this is the Dr for you!

I wish I listened to the negative reviews here. The proprietor O'Riordan charged me money but never provided the service I paid for, despite chasing him repeatedly. Avoid at all costs!

Unfortunately, I wasted around £150 of money and several months of my time via The Oxford Foot and Ankle Centre. I think it's important to point out that it is seemingly only run by one member of staff - and he is not a doctor (as other reviews are describing him).I was recommended orthotic insoles for foot pain/trouble with shoes, but was told I needed to do some exercises before measuring for them. Each appointment was £40, and I ended up having 3 to get measured for the insoles. However, each appointment at most lasted 10 minutes, despite me paying for half hour. I never received an invoice for any of the 'treatment', despite asking several times (both in person and via email). Once measured for the insoles, I paid around £30 'handling charge'... and then... I was ignored. I waited a few weeks to 'receive a quote' for the insole cost, which never came, despite a number of voicemails. Finally, 3 months later (after I sent an abrupt email), I received a quote (the delay was of course not his fault). And funnily enough, I never heard from him again... despite further voicemails and emails.Initially, I thought that the man running this company was just incompetent and trying to hold down his business solo. But I increasingly started to feel like he was a bit of a fraudster and ripping me off. Then I Googled his full name... and a rather interesting newspaper article popped up about him...I finally gave up - £150 poorer, wasting several months, no orthotic insoles, still with foot pain, and really rather cross. I have since visited a different podiatrist business in Oxford, who have informed me that I am not alone. They have a large list of patients who have similar experiences of this business.AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Unless you wish to wait a lifetime and be ripped off, AVOID. Had an appointment on the 17 July for orthotics and I'm still waiting for an update and they don't return phone calls. They were very quick and keen to take the £75 off my hands. Now I have to pay for another appointment elsewhere. Go elsewhere as it will take him about ten years to get anything done! Complete waste of time and money. Shameful!

Having suffered foot and ankle pain for some time, I am extremely grateful to Dr O’Riordan for his kind and thoroughly professional care. Regular visits to his practice have proved highly beneficial. No more pain!

My first visit for getting new prescription orthotics (insoles) was on MAY 19, 2021. They were ready on JANUARY 14, 2022! Dr. O'Riordan first said they'd be delayed (due to pandemic problems with the manufacturer) to early July (rather than June). Then it was October 2021, then the mold wasn't adequate and I had to come in again to make a new one, then it was December, then he promised by email 'around January 5th', and I had to contact him to find out when, another 9 days. Dr. O'Riodan repeatedly said he hadn't been able to reach me by phone (no one else had problems) and blamed the issues on the manufacturer. I just didn't believe him in the end. And the insoles aren't as comfortable as the last pair I had from another podiatrist. A terrible experience.
