Highfields Play Area

A series of field, football pitches, and greenspaces filor children to play on. There is a maze that youngsters can tackle. Popular with dog walkers though owners keep their pets on the lead.

Small playground with two toddler swings, small slide, two rocking animal seats, small climbing structure and a drawing blackboard.There are also two benches and a bin for your convenience.The whole playground is surrounded by a short metal fence and there are two small gates to enter/exit.The playground was clean and neat the last time we went there.1 star down for these reasons:- The swing design is one of the worst ones I've seen; you need to push really hard to make it swing. Great if you want to have an exercise. But I would much more prefer a different swing design like in other playgrounds where they swing without the need to use so much force.- Even a toddler can push the gates open, there are no locks like in other playgrounds to prevent then from opening easily.
