If you're looking for buffet food at a reasonable price then cosmos is the place for you. Set in the lower half of the old Debenham store you head down on the travelator and are welcomed by the front of house staff. Allocated and shown a table, drinks order is taken and off you go to fill up a plate with all the goodies available. From Singapore noodles to egg fried rice, sweet and sour chicken to roast meats. Plenty of selection for even the fussiest eaters out there. Desserts are a selection of cakes and gateaux and a chocolate fountain and selection of fruit. Large selection of drinks available from alcohol to mocktails, tea and coffee. Travelator comes in very handy for the trip back up to the ground floor after eating a lot. We went at lunchtime and it wasn't busy, evenings maybe a different story. Reservations can be done online

I have been here once before and I really enjoyed it so I decided to come back here once again. Just like last time, I really enjoyed all of my foods which included the sushi and the noodles. The staff were also very friendly to us and I hope to return here again soon.

Nice place. Biggest down side if in a wheel chair is because its in a basement and you need to use a lift which sadly was out of use when i got there. And escalators. One was working the other not. This ended up being a plus for me as i can get on a down escalator these days. So my husband had to take my wheelchair down and i had to very carefully walk down the non working side. The staff were very apologetic when they saw us. The meal was nice with a good mix of styles and choices. The disabled toilet was big enough but needed a clean. The staff were very polite. We went for our friends birthday and they delivered his cake via serving robor which played happy birthday which was different

Nice place to dine in. Tasty food with a lot of choices. Time is limited for 1 and half hour which is more than enough to have a great experience.

Very disappointed at all aspects of our visit on a Saturday evening. Chaotic queue outside the restaurant. After being seated took 20 minutes for a member of staff to take drinks order, then a further 10 minutes for them to come back with some empty glasses for the bottomless soft drinks. Had to wait for fresh plates to be put out. A lot of food advertised on the website was not available. The Indian food was of poor quality, very little spice, and watery. The carvery selection was also limited and there was no one manning the carvery station for at least half the time we were there. The Chinese food was OK but long waits for the food to be restocked. The desserts were very lacking, chocolate fountain turned off. Then when we had finished we had to queue for a long time to pay. There was only one person taking payment for the whole restaurant. We then had to try and squeeze through the exit and a huge crowd of people queuing outside the restaurant. A very disappointing experience and fairly expensive. Will not be returning.

Had a fantastic experience on a Tuesday afternoon at 16:00. We were the first group of people in and it was empty, but all the food was layed out ready and smelt fantastic. Really enjoyed our time here, and the food was great. Great service by the staff who made us really welcome -thank you !
