Hook Farm Livery

Owing to moving house I've sadly had to relocate my pony from 'Hook Farm'. Without a doubt 'Hook Farm' livery yard has been the best place ever . It's well run, maintained and organised by Alex, Will & Sam Buckley. They are all proving to be a hard act to follow and I realise just how spoilt we were. Kind owners and liveries. Thank you everyone for providing such a stress free environment for both my pony and me ! We miss you. X

Hook Farm has really met the requirements of both of my very different horses. Will, Alex & Sam have gone the extra mile to ensure the livery yard is a safe, friendly and enjoyable place to be. A very beautiful and clean livery yard but also realistic. Alex & Will are extremely attentive and will always do their utmost to provide the best solution in any given situation to ensure that all horses and owners are happy. The rules of the yard are made very clear to everyone so that life on the yard is easy, pleasant and fair for all. If there are ever any issues, Alex and Will are always happy to help and will strive for an effective outcome without any awkwardness. I have been to many different livery yards in the past, none of them are at all like Hook Farm and come nowhere near to being as amazing!

I enjoyed my time at Hook Farm especially the hacking with other liveries around the beautiful area. The quality of hay was also excellent and kept neat tidy. The stables were airy and spacious. However I ran into multiple issues with the owner about my horse making too much mud in her field (therefore I was told I had to keep my horse in which obviously wasn’t fair on her). My stable also leaked which I enquired about needing fixing multiple times but never happened. I also got spoken to many times about little things that weren’t me (normally I wasn’t even at the yard on the particular time of the event) eg not sweeping outside my stable or not shutting a gate. Although this yard wasn’t perfect, I enjoyed my experience.

Lovely, relaxed yard. My two boys and me are very happy here. The hacking is amazing, lots of spectacular views and plenty to do without going on the roads.Very well set out and organised, I love the fact my wheelbarrow has it's own parking space, so no stress about storing tools etc..The people on the yard are lovely, I moved all the way from yorkshire and now have a firm set of friends and yard family!Alex, Sam and Will are lovely and very helpful and welcoming.If your looking for a friendly relaxed yard to enjoy your horse then I would highly recommend Hook Farm! :)

I have two horses at Hook Farm. We have everything we need here, from lovely hay to a very handy sand school. The turn out is a must for my boys (tbs) and we always have plenty of grass. The tracks to turn out are well maintained, so wellies stay on feet!With the recent bad weather, it has shown how well run the yard is and how nice the other liveries are as everyone made sure every horse was happy and safe with both storms.My two horses get to be stabled next to each other and turned out together, so I couldn’t ask for more from such a friendly, organised yard.There is plenty of parking, allocated storage such as hay rings and lots of things to make life easier such as a washing machine and drying rail.My horses are very happy and settled here.

Hook Farm in West Hoathly is the best DIY livery yard I have known. It is run very professionally with not only the horse in mind but the owner too. There is individual all year turn out and very good off road riding. The owners are knowledgeable and welfare of the horses is paramount. The assisted livery offered is also excellent. I can’t recommend this yard highly enough and would have no hesitation in keeping my horses there again.
