Links Golf Club

Attended the wedding of my best friend and was so impressed with the venue. The food was amazing, they even made a special platter up for my vegan daughter with a fantastic selection of food on it. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the drinks prices were very reasonable. There is also a lovely area outside with lots of seating, which we enjoyed while it was sunny. Overall a lovely place to hold a function and definitely recommended.

Played this golf course on captain's charity day had a great day out Bacon butty to start fish and chips after playing staff very friendly, course played long and the greens were slow but other than that very nice course would highly recommend

Fantastic course, challenging layout. Clubhouse is lovely with friendly staff and a good variety of food on offer at reasonable prices. Friendly members and the Pro shop are excellent too.

Played the course today and after heavy rain/storm the condition was really good. Layout of the course and holes made for really enjoyable golf. The front 9 is wide in places making it more forgiving than the back 9. Tee boxes and greens are in lovely condition. Signage for holes is good.The bunker protection around the course is excellent, however the only downside from the round was the bunker standard/quality. Most were very bare sand, making it difficult to play a good shot. Having this amount of bunkers on the course, good sand coverage is important. I imagine the heavy rains have however impacted this in recent days, which is unavoidable.Pro shop were friendly and helpful. We didn’t use them but the practice facilities also looked good. Plenty of parking.Really enjoyed the visit. Will certainly be back for another round soon!

Played in a regional club competition for the first time here. The course was a good test, especially in the wind. The club house pleasently layed out, staff were friendly and courteous. The food was fresh and value for money. The Pro shop was well stocked and the Pro was very helpful. Would recommend a round there but not for the faint hearted.

Another fun evening at The Links. Summer ball. Hosted in the marquee, with welcome drink and canapes, followed by sit down 3 course meal and a great live band, and dancing until late. I didn't play golf today, but it is a beautiful course, extremely well maintained. Would recommend.

Called to book a tee time and refused due to not having an official handicap. It’s clubs like this that give golf a bad name I have played in golf clubs all over the world and never been refused to pay someone to play. Upon reading the website I find that it’s not a must but at the discretion of whoever picks up the phone that day very bizarre, no wonder why people struggle to take up golf with these archaic clubs still around. The 1900s are over come and join us in 2023.
