Bachata Blues Edinburgh

I've been taking classes with them for a while and I can't thanks enough what I've been learning so far.. If you're looking for dancing bachata under an international standard you must go with chrysoula and Joanna❤️❤️

Chrysoula & Joanna's classes have made such a difference to my overall dancing ability. Their classes really focus on the fundamentals and intricacies of bachata dancing that are often missed, which in turn allows you to become (in my case) a better leader and ultimately a better dancer who is able to (hopefully) lead with more purpose and grace...Another thing that I'm sure is not spoken about is that they are a great 'comedy duo' and often have me laughing a lot!!!

I feel so lucky and grateful to be guided by Chrysloula and Joanna. My self-confidence has radically improved since I joined their classes a few months ago, and I feel I have been thriving since then. Every class is an opportunity for me to learn about technique and musicality, which is a fundamental part of any dance learning journey. Joining their classes was a success at every level.

One of the best things to happen in 2022 is when one of my pal asked me if I could accompany her as a leader to Chrysoula’s and Joanna’s (C&J) classes. Never realised saying yes would lead to such a progression. They are one of the best in the business and inspire you so much every class you attend. You realise it’s not all about combos and patterns but about keeping it simple and getting the techniques right. It’s about focusing on the basics, the body movements, the connection and the styling which is what eventually will make your dance look better. No matter your level, they start where you are and take you as far as you can go. Their attention to detail is second to none. They are professional, kind, and great dancers you look up to. If you’ve never taken a class with C&J, I highly recommend you give it a try, I’m sure you’re gonna fall in love with them and dance like so many before you!

I have found in Chrysoula and Joanna the perfect guides to be introduced to the world of Bachata. Their undisputed competence and professionality, the friendly atmosphere and the ability to break down complex concepts into very simple steps makes my learning process a lot smoother. If you are interested in learning Bachata, I highly recommend to join their lessons/socials or book private lessons with them, because you won't find anyone better in Edinburgh!
