Very knowledgeable staff and a great selection of cheese. Having just read Ned Palmer's, A Cheesemongers History of the British Isles, I wanted to try some more unusual cheeses. When you realise the passion devotion and expertise that goes into making an artisan cheese, how can you begrudge paying more than your average supermarket cheese?

This is probably the best cheese shop I have ever visited. The service is very helpful and friendly and the cheese selection is simply enormous. I love cheese and there freshly home made truffle brie is best I have ever tasted. If you are a cheese lover then this is the place to go. Added today another great British cheese called Beauvale. If you like a smooth creamy blue cheese then this is the perfect choice.

One of the best cheesemongers in London, and for sure the best cheese on Northcote. Sure it's a bit pricey, but sometimes real quality produce costs money. They clearly love their cheese and hold a very high bar. Thank you!

Such a great selection of cheeses - so many varieties I had never heard of before and the staff are so knowledgeable. We purchased 2 types of cheese and both are excellent. Yes it's a bit more expensive than buying from a supermarket but its worth it.

I love this fantastic Cheesemonger'sAlways have a great selection especially French and British cheeses. I run South London Wine School and we always use Hamish Johnston for our cheese and wine/beer pairing sessions as well as teaching Academy of Cheese courses.Excellent service and knowledge from the team.
