Gilt Moth Tattoo

Superb work done in a neat, clean, cool little space. I have found my new favourite parlour. Mon did my tattoo, and that involved research, consultation, care, and deft line-work. I couldn’t be happier with the finished article.

This is a very unprofessional tattoo shop. I enquired to have a tattoo done . I had a very clear mind of what I wanted. Unfortunately after I visit to the shop and many phone calls and emails. There was not a single tattoo artist that was available to do my tattoo or even discuss a design. How they could quote me a high price even with telling me what tattoo that would pay for and with out talking to me or meeting with me even after many weeks of me trying to get an appointment.it seems as they will charge you without even having a design go for you to agree go.Highly unprofessional. I advise anyone to stay clear of this place. This studio is motivated purely by greed and has not interest in customer service or anything that the customer is looking for. Website showing many tattoo artist available but this is not true. There is only one and his ego is too big to have any time for a customer.. worst experience ever of a tattoo studio.

Beth pierced my helix and upper lobes today and she was amazing. So calm and professional with lots of patience and experience. She completely puts you at ease and is so friendly and knowledgeable. The space is hygienic and Beth really explains each step as she goes. Would highly recommend

I just had my septum pierced by Beth, and honestly it could not have gone better. She has a warm enthusiastic presence that puts you at ease, she explains everything clearly and honestly, and her infection control practice was immaculate. I’m a chatter when I’m nervous, and she was happy to engage as well, which really helps. Shop was clean and attractive too, and other staff were nice; it can be intimidating for a middle-aged woman to walk into these places, and I didn’t feel awkward at any time. Thank you for making my experience so positive!

Such an amazing piercing experience with Beth, she took her time with me, she was insanely patient, so gentle and made me feel super comfortable. Beth was meticulous and her attention to detail was second to none. She is an exceptional and incredibly knowledgeable and superb piercer. I trusted her opinion immediately and I’m aching to get back and get my next piercing in three months!

Can't recommend more highly Mon and the rest of the GMT team. It was my first (very large) tattoo and from the second I contacted them via email, to the video consultation and then at the studio on the first day until I left (after the 2nd day of work) they treated me beautifully... and of course the work was exceptional and was exactly the result I wanted. I'm a designer so am very fussy about how things should look. A1- 5 Star service

I got my nose pierced with Beth, she and the team were amazing and so friendly. The vibe of the place is so warming and friendly, I didn’t feel anxious at all, I called the same day and they booked me in! Beth took the time to explain everything to me including jewellery, which side would be better to pierce and after care. She was so patient in answering all my questions and it was so clean, everything was properly sterilised and cleaned. I was very nervous and she was so lovely in talking me through the process and what was going to happen so I could prepare. 10/10 would 100% go back to her!

If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would. The place is so clean and beautiful. I received the best service from Beth. I initially came in with a piercing which were done elsewhere and Beth was more than welcoming. Listened to me and just made me feel so comfortable. She was happy to assist me in taking them. I really wish there was a better word to explain the excellent service which I received. I also got a flat piercing and Beth was patient, she explained everything in detail and was simply amazing. I will definitely be coming back for another piercing and jewelry purchase. Keep up the good work.

Absolutely amazing experience. I had my septum and eyebrow done by Beth and it was so great. Beth was so nice and pleasant. She was patient and explained everything that will be happening.
