Moorview Vets

I have been with Moorview for over 2 years and they have always been great. I get appointment and medication reminders on my phone, they are always great with my two spaniels. I was previously with a different vets and I felt they treated me like a money machine. With Moorview I've never felt that, the prices are reasonable and I always get a clear picture of how much I'll be expected to pay. I would definitely recommend their service.

Needed repeat script for one of my dogs on Thursday. Northld Park (my usual branch) were out of stock. They phoned around and informed me Monkseaton had them and I could collect the next day.Rachel at Monkseaton called me to say they were going to try and get them ready for later Thursday.Great customer service Rachel!

They are usually a good veterinarian practice but unfortunately there prices are not consistent. We were charged £10 to have dogs nails cut on one visit but £24 on a subsequent visit. When queried we were told the higher price was correct. In summary they are good vets but check the prices before each visit.

Used to be great, Impossible to get through now then getting an appointment is shambles. Terrible service too, more stress than a vets should be.

We have been with MOORVIEW for around 3 years now & have always been very happy with them. Lovely reception staff who really care about your animals, professional but friendly vets, good location.

This vet never answers the phone and when I walk round to make an appointment in person, it’s closed, on a weekday when it should be open. This has happened twice. Cannot get my pet seen when urgently needed. Will be finding a new vet.

We love Moorview, only reason it's not a 5 star is due to the fact there is not enough vets now, so standard appointments can take a while to get. But if it's an emergency they always fit you in, so that is good.

Absolutely disgusting practice! Tried to get my cat seen for a possible broken or sprained paw seeing as the practice is only up the road from us and we have no transport or way of getting her safely (she is very nervous and doesn't like being handled at the best of times) to the emergency vets only to be told they are not taking on new clients, really?! Whilst I understand and appreciate there is a pandemic at the minute (I should know as a KEYWORKER who has had to work ALL the way throughout this rubbish!) poorly animals should be their priority surely, especially ones with possible broken bones from a fall, you know as a place that claims to care for animals! It's not like vets are cheap either or that the treatment would be free. Appalled at the lack of compassion from the receptionist on the phone who just talked over me and wouldn't listen, so rude!

So pleased I moved to Moorview Vets with my dear old cat Lola. Excellent service. Always a worry when you have to visit a Vet so it's nice to feel confident that they will give me the best service they can. I accidently gave a 1⭐ rating. This should have been, without doubt, a 5⭐ rating.
