Ascend Hair

Everyone knows that when you find a good local hairdresser you hang on to them. After years of experience I've decided that Ascend Hair is, for me, the best yet. I've known Jeninne since she first worked at what was then Strands and I've followed her around to return to what is now Ascend Hair. The same useful location but the difference being that the current owner Cate has worked very hard to achieve a lovely welcoming place where clients and staff seem so content to be. Jennine continues to work her hair magic and her signature head massages during washing are blissful. Cate is always smiley and Greg is invariable full of interesting anecdotes to which to listen. Every time I'm delighted to arrive at the salon and on leaving consistently wish my appointment had lasted longer. But the cutting and styling seem to last for ages. Perfect.

Jennine does a a fab cut on my straight hair, from other experiences not everyone can. Would highly recommend Ascend, lovely staff.

I see Sam she is amazing listens to what I want and has given me a new hair style which I love and get great great compliments from friends and family. Owner Kate is lovely cares for her clients and makes a lovely cup of tea. Visit as u will have an amazing experience.

If you want a relaxing time with a lovely haircut then this is the place to come. I highly recommend Jennine’s head massage when my hair is being washed.I love the way I am listened to and guided to have colours that suit me. A great team right next to the park x

I always come away feeling great after a visit here. Sam listens to what I would like and we discuss what would suit me best. I went in on the off chance they would be able to fix a disaster of a cut that I had done only a couple of hours before. Gregg had fixed it and worked a miracle.
