I have waited 40 minutes to get a van because they couldn't find the one which was meant to be for me. The one they gave me was dirty and stinking.When I dropped the van back I parked it on the same spot I picking it up but the guy who was there told me to move it and park in tight bay where I couldn't fit it and could easily scratch the van. When I refused and told him my worries, he told me, I will do it later when I got time".Terrible service and client approach.Overall

I can't say enough good about this place. We needed a car asap and prices everywhere else were insanely out of our budget. This place seemed to good to be true but they were incredible and the customer service could not of been better or more efficient and friendly. Our car was in great shape and clean and pick up and drop off were simple.

Great value, friendly lads - easy and cheapest around just for the day. Very impressed.

I was visiting Wales and needed a car to trip around the countryside. After reading a few reviews they seemed the most professional and honest. I was not disappointed, great experience from start to finish and only one surprise. Coming from out of country and to make my life easier, I had reserved an vehicle with an automatic transmission through the online booking process. When I picked up the car, they gave me a standard and I had no options but to take it. In my case, not a huge problem because I can drive standard. Staff told me they never have automatics available, everyone in Wales drives standard. However, other potential drivers from out of country may want to confirm automatic availability and communicate with a real person at U-Drive. My question is why are these vehicles on booking website and not in the lots.

I wouldn't even give one star to this company, one of the worst I've dealt with, I had a guest arriving and had to get to the airport which was 3 hours away, they gave me a vehicle, when it was driven, the wheel started making loud sounds, when we returned it to change the person at desk was adamant there was nothing wrong, after insisting he finally got one of his mechanics to check and he confirmed it was dangerous to drive, extremely unfriendly staff and rude too.When they were asked to exchange their response was no vehicle available, we asked if they can check other branches their response after checking was nothing available. We were extremely let down and we will never ever use this company ever again, it's a good thing we are an organisation so we can inform other people in our network not to use this company again.STAY AWAY!

Tidy bunch of boys in the depot. Much more helpful than the staff in the phones in their Centeral office. Had a tipper on hire for a year, always sorted any problems.

This place was great to hire a 7.5 ton lorry from. The guys in Cardiff branch were really helpful and it couldn't of been any easier to hire a lorry.The prices were the best I could find and you may even get a better deal in branch. Book online or call.The lorry was fairly new (2yrs), comfortable and easy to drive for someone used to driving larger vehicles. They have a good range of new vehicles for whatever your need. We had solid sided box with tail lift. All worked perfectly well.When collecting you do a walk around check with an assistant from the branch and they have a tablet that records any damage on the lorry with pictures. That way you know any and all existing damage on the lorry is recorded and you're not going to get the blame for some dent that was there before!Hopefully all u drive branches are as good as this one! Very happy to recommend them.

Don’t waste your time dealing with this company. They can let you down very easily. Unprofessional staff as well. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Great service, cheapest I could find on the market. We had a brand new car which was immaculate.Unfortunately there was an issue with the fuel cap which meant we could not fill the car up. U drive were very helpful in assisting with this and gave us an extra day on the hire (as we could not use for some of one day waiting for AA).Could not recommend this service enough for anyone looking to hire a car in the Cardiff area.
