The rudest staff I have ever met , should definitely not be in a customer facing job , the swearing , shouting and arguing is not what you would expect when out with your 4 year old granddaughter. Maybe this gentleman (and I use the word loosely)would be more suited to looking after a lighthouse with no other person around for miles.

The arcade is very well presented, set in a beautiful building and the staff work hard to keep it tidy. Unfortunately, John has to be the meanest, most ignorant and most bitter arcade owner I have ever encountered. Totally lacking any warmth or social skills, he sits upstairs watching and listening to people via an extensive CCTV system, as they spend their money. I no longer gamble in there as I refuse to line his pockets out of principle, I’d rather lose my money in Grays arcade down the road, where they at least have some manners.

Google’s hours are incorrect, only open to 8pm out of season. Which would be fine, if the fellow behind the counter wasn’t very rude about not being paid after 8pm — problem with your boss, not your customers — then he rushed us out the door before 8pm at any rate. I get that your job’s not worth it, but don’t take it out on the people who are there to pay for it.

If I could do zero stars I would , The most unwelcoming and rude staff I’ve ever encountered, the old git that “runs the place” presence makes you feel uncomfortable and on edge , pushing us out by turning lights and machines off whilst we were still playing on machines even though they had 50 minutes until they supposedly closed. I’ve had bad experiences here in the past and put it down to him having a bad day but no he is just is rude and shall not return … the other arcade in sheringham is a lot better and you won’t be made to feel bad for winning a prize worth a pound … after putting 20 pounds in a machine … absolute joke !!

Hello, nice little arcade near the sea, plenty of games to play on, the guy behind the desk is a little grumpy but it must sad to live so close to beach and not be able to play in the sand all day, also he has to watch people have fun all day whilst trapped in that little booth handing out moneys, poor guy

Awful arcade I was playing the bar x 7 10p pusher when the money was falling over some of the 10ps were getting stuck the miserable man behind cashbox said its part of the game he reluctantly opened the machine huffing and puffing then he gave them to me.The prizes on the bed are actually illegal the 10p pusher is a category D machine which you can win no more than £5 cash it has a £10 & £20 note weighted down on the bed. (Please see photos).I wouldn't play in there again look how many 1 * reviews he has.

Perfectly good amusement arcade. Just go in knowing you're not going to win anything... Has a cash machine and change machines.

Rudest cashier/staff ever, like other people who have left negative reviews I think I encountered the ‘grumpy old guy’. At first I thought he was joking with his behaviour, but no, he really is that bad. The other arcade a few shops down much nicer staff.

Staff are so rude and ridiculous the most rubbish arcade ever, faulty machine wouldn’t give refund wanted us to wait for it to reboot (10 min) to have another game
