They're more likely to make assumptions and profile you rather than hear you outYou'd be better off just killing yourself rather than try to get proper helpfrom these guysI wouldn't be surprised if that's what they're counting on to make their job easierIf you want anything done you gotta bother them bad any chance you get they won't do much unless they want to get rid of youthey might give you appoitments on the days the place is closed to discourage you from attempting to get any further ones but stay persistent make their job harder and get the help you deserve

I would have given them 0 stars if I could. Please think twice before you decide to self refer there or to approach this service for any kind of assistance related to your psychological well-being. I saw a counsellor called Justine, who was deeply unprofessional, judgmental and non attentive to put it mildly. During our time together she paid very little attention to what I was saying to her. Instead she formed her “professional opinion” based on a series of outdated notes that had been compiled during my 1st assessment which was held 9 years prior. Sessions with with her were not only not helpful, but they had a deeply detrimental effect upon my health for many years afterward. I would be more than happy to raise a formal complaint if I could. I wasn’t the 1st person who had an extremely negative experience after being “treated” by this service and I am sure that I will not be the last. Please beware and stay away from them if you can help it.

My experience with this service is terrible. I approached them first around the age of 18 after coming to terms with the abuse I received as a child and received no help or follow up. Years later after my ex partner became abusive, physically, financially, etc and stopped me seeing my daughter (because she could and the system works in their favour) I approached the service again multiple times in mental health crisis. I overdosed 3 times last year, twice ended up in hospital. I saw 'top psychologists' after long periods of hearing nothing. All they could do was say they would help and discharge me back. Absolutely useless from the receptionists to the 'top psychologists' is an understatement. The NHS is a money pit that has no useful services and only has long waits/delays. Useless. 101 service, AandE all of it is inefficient and full of script readers and dead ends.
