Rewley Road Swing Bridge
It's cool. It's just an old abandoned swing bridge that used to be used to turn trains around. You can see a path where the tracks used to go.

Rewley Road Swing Bridge
It’s a good way to avoid going up Roger Dudman Way a bit, but the underbridge is quite low (can bump your head), it’s dark, and can be difficult to see if someone is coming the other way on the turns. I use it often, though.

Rewley Road Swing Bridge
Currently still being restored to its former glory, Rewley Road Swing Bridge is now completely disconnected from the railway, but is a fascinating piece of British engineering history. At the moment there's not a lot to see and access to the site is restricted but hopefully in the next year the works will finish and allow the bridge to regularly swing again.

Remarkable survivor of railway times past. It's in poor shape, sitting beside the canal channel that it used to bridge. Well worth a look, as it's one of very few such mechanisms still extant. Last operational in 1980s
