Went in today for a pipe elbow. Went straight up to a worker for help and he quickly located my item for me.He was helpful and polite.He took me over to the till area to be served and it was a different member of staff who served me.He was quite rude. He never made eye contact with me. Never told me how much the item cost, never used the words please or thankyou" or even acknowledged that I was a customer at all. Very robotic

Sold us the wrong paint claiming it would be durable. We cleaned using a cloth and it came straight off. Not durable at all. The store refused to offer us an alternative or refund. Disgusting customer service.

Absolutely appalling service at the Hartlepool branch . Lid on paint not put on properly which then spilt in my car. Rang and spoke to “Manager ” who refused to give me his full name as he was no obligation to. Then made comments as regards my “common sense”. When my partner took the paint back he tried to apologise as the lid wouldn’t go on the original tin.Disgraceful customer service .

I've just moved to Hartlepool and this is a gem. Great little hardware store with free parking right outside. Got 99% of anything you could need and very competitive on price up against the big shops. They must be doing something right to have been open for the amount of time they have. This is my go to place for anything DIY.
