Very pleasant - reasonably priced if a little dated - silver service/ tourist-spanish/classic french cuisine. A haven from the chain Italians and hipster Tex/Mex/Latin American or Vegan walk-ups or usually fully booked on a Saturday night finer dining joints to be found in Norwich these days.

This is a great place. Now on our 3rd visit. The in-laws visit monthly. Extremely friendly staff, and excellent food. Cooked to perfection. It's a small place so very cosy but that helps make it a great place to visit.

Excellent meal: scallops in bacon, Dover sole cooked to perfection. Talked to fellow diners and it became clear that they were repeat loyal customers. We will return too.

The food and atmosphere is authentically Spanish in this family restaurant. You should book a table a have one of their main dishes (which may be a little big for people who east small portions). The service can be quicker and the menu easier to understand (i.e.: they don't have photos of the dishes).

Our first visit here. Strongly recommend it. Food is excellent. Cannot fault the service. Ambience good. Will certainly be back sooner rather than later.

Have been a customer of this restaurant for many years and know the owners now as friends, whenever we book a table on arrival the welcome we get is always very warm and friendly. We tend to open our evening with a drink at the bar while perusing the menus. We like to get seated around 7.30 - 8.00pm that way we know we are there for the duration of the evening. We nearly always have a 3 course meal and the food is always of the highest quality and is always served at your table by way of silver service. I always start with the same dish and nearly always the same main with a lucky dip sweet to finish. Although it is a bit silly drinking coffee at such a later hour around 11pm but we always do. Coffee is bliss when accompanied by Spanish Brandy. This place is that good that we actually had a Wedding luncheon there with 26 guests on a Thursday afternoon, and we have had a few Christmas Eve dinners to remember there also. We could not state here in this review how highly we rate and recommend this eatery., to us its a 6 Star Restaurant.

Totally agree with Angie Banks. We went there expecting authentic Spanish food, having lived in Spain for many years and the vegetables turned up - broccoli, green beans, peas and saute. The only thing we ever saw at a Spanish restaurant in Spain were the saute - definitely not the other veg. Rest of the food was passable but definitely not enjoyable. Also quite agree with the service. Owner bought over a dessert menu and when we said we didn't want dessert, he dismissed us very rudely. How anyone could give this place 5 stars beggars belief.

I ordered the mixed seafood platter and every piece was cooked perfectly. The price was very appealing for the amount of food. My partner had the chicken and he said the sauce was good. It was a shame that there was just us in the restaurant that day. I guess everyone goes to trendy hipster nowadays. The deco is very traditional, some may say a bit tired. Perhaps just drawing up the curtain would help massively. I really hope people would visit the restaurant because there are not many down-to-earth places like this around nowadays. Please do go otherwise it may disappear soon!
