Ravenscourt House, Guest House & Restaurant

Stayed here with my family for one night and it was great! Nick and Cris are super friendly and hospitable. My parents loved staying here and it was one of their favourite places while they travelled the UK. The rooms are clean and cozy. If you get a chance definitely eat at their restaurant, it was one of the best meals we had while travelling. Brilliant!! Thank you Nick and Cris!

Magical place. Nick, the lady at the restaurant and the rest of the staff make you feel right at home.The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The place is a beautiful old mansion. The restaurant is in a glass room that is simply wonderful.I have fond memories.

We only stayed a single night at Ravenscourt as we had a day-trip up to the highlands from Edinburgh and were looking for a place to stay before driving back down.We decided on the Ravenscourt because it was on a fairly larger city with multiple options for dinner (Don't make the same mistake we did and make sure to listen to Nick and Cris' suggestions!).I fully recommend this place as both Nick and Cris were very helpful and pleasant hosts. One worry we had before our stay was if the date of the building would make for a much colder October night but the room we stayed in was very warm and very cozy.We had our In-House breakfast before checking out and the spread alongside the service from Nick couldn't have been any better. We plan on staying here again when we're back in Scotland.

We stayed one night and would highly recommend Ravenscourt to anyone traveling in the area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Nick and Cris were friendly and welcoming. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was exceptional. We enjoyed the mussels in white wine sauce and appreciated so much care and many gluten free offerings on the menu. The entire house has a special warmth and charm. If we are lucky one day, we will have the opportunity to return!

Nick and Cris were wonderful hosts for our 5 night stay. The rooms were very comfortable with everything you could need. The location is perfect for access to the charming town. I highly recommend the restaurant at the Ravenscourt. The food and service were exceptional. I strongly recommend the Ravenscourt House for your travels. We had a wonderful stay at Ravenscourt House! The home is excellently maintained in a great location to explore Cairngorms National Park. The bedroom and shared lounge were very cozy, breakfast was delicious, and both Nick and Cris were exceptional hosts.Could not recommend this home enough, thanks again for a lovely stay.

Our stay here was a very last minute booking to break a long drive. Wow, what a gem! Our hosts were brilliant and extremely welcoming, the room was fantastic, and the guest house offers a very well stocked bar. The location is excellent with a good range of nearby restaurants in Grantown. The WiFi was fast and reliable. We'll definitely be returning.
