Bought a Moses basket stand from Parkgate Rotherham Store to find it is faulty with parts missing. Attended store this morning to try to exchange. Was dealt with by manager Sally who to be quite frank is the rudest, unhelpful and unprofessional individual I have ever met. There wasn’t a stand to be able to exchange. By law I am within my rights to have a full refund but it would appear Sally is above the law and was more concerned with belittling me in front of a queue full of customers. Left with faulty stand and no resolution due to her arrogance and now out of pocket as had to buy elsewhere. Hopefully situation getting resolved by mothercare customer service. But should never have come to this. She is an embarrassment to the chain and clearly needs retraining in customer service skills and consumer rights.

Amazing value, a lot of products are 30% off retail! We got a stunning deal on nursery furniture. Check the pack for missing parts as soon as you get home, the helpline were great at replacing them.

Bought a cot at a reduced price, staff member said it was new, brought home to find one of the adjustable legs was broken so wouldn't tilt AND the mattress was missing - Clearly a returned product that has been boxed up and sold on as new. Mothercare won't replace it (we like the product) they will only offer to refund and sell us another at full price.

Very recommended for breast feeding mothers. While shopping little one became fussy and hungry. Was happy to find beautiful spacious room for feeding baby. Really enjoyed my shopping experience with a happy well fed baby :) great prices and staff too.

I work on this retail park and it's well connected to Rotherham town centre, this Mothercare is only a outlet store but when I've been in they have good choice and there's usually something on sale. They also sell big items like prams and cots ect, there's a big car park here and the staff are always helping people to their cars.

Went to have a look at a car seat for my son and the night manager SALLY was very rude quizzing me and my partner on how we travel with my son with no car seat and saying we would have to get the bus home didn't really want to sell the car seat as no top teather all we wanted to do is check it fitted our car as just returned a car seat that didn't fit in the car reason I was on the bus her attitude stinks making out we was not telling the truth unbelievable anyway got the car seat from boots paid extra well done SALLY never again will we shop at that store

I'm not rating 5 as I went to look at car seats today, the lady that was trying to help wasn't much help, she didn't really know anything about car seats and then had to look online when I corrected her. Also the car seats were dearer than smiths which is next door

As an outlet, you can drop on some really good bargains on prams, seats, furniture, clothes and toys. When you are starting out with a new born, you can save a lot of money. We always check here before looking else where.
