National Windscreens Exeter

Very disappointed with the service at Exeter National Windscreens. They replaced my smashed rear window and failed to clean up any of the glass fragments and splinters. They gave me no opportunity to inspect the work, and, once home with the vehicle, my ailing wife had to spend an hour cleaning up the many dangerous shards and making the car safe for our young grandchildren. Strongly recommend that customers check their vehicles before taking them away.

The team at the Exeter branch were really good and replaced my screen quickly. Unfortunately they are completely undermined by the shambolic booking process via their contact centre. The initial direction from my insurance company to their website was simple enough but from there onwards it all went wrong. They identified my car incorrectly from my registration number and it took hours of waiting on hold to get this sorted. Once booked actually getting a time slot was ludicrously complicated, I kept being told the branch would contact me and let me know which never happened, more time on hold led to me finally getting hold of someone who said ”just turn up 9am, it’ll be fine”, I then got an email the day before saying 12:30! The same email had details of the branch location included, a branch that had close fifteen months earlier!!!! Because of this I spent an extra forty minutes in traffic trying to get to the opposite side of the city.The conclusion is that unless I’m forced to via an insurance company I’d do everything in my power to avoid having to deal with them again. Which is a shame because the guys that did the work were spot on.

Very disappointing as a reputable company" The gentleman in the Exeter office was very helpful and passed me on the number to the so called "specialist Glazing team" in Bristol where they aren't really specialists in alot really. This company is capable of alot more but could not help me whatsoever in sourcing me the right windscreen for my vehicle or anything really infact and advised me to try elsewhere. So I think I will leave it to another

Excellent service and kept me informed when they fitter was running slightly late.

Waiting for confirmation text that didn't come on time for my first appointment. Couldn't contact branch or central office by phone took all morning to get through. I think the branch was waiting for a screen but some one could have told me,felt left hanging not great.

Took my car for windscreen change today.Been told it would take up to 4 hours but car was ready to go within 1,5 h.great service from start to finish!would definitely recommend!!!

Have visited here several times over the last few years and every time have been impressed with the efficient fast reliable service, provided by very experienced, professional and friendly staff. Overall an excellent repair centre, top quality repairs / replacements, a large workshop area and very convenient location right in the centre of Exeter, for shopping opportunities while the work is being undertaken. Today's replacement once again very happy with!

Excellent service, arrived early for my appointment and met outside by the technician Rob who couldn't have been more helpful, explaining the process of replacing my windscreen and how long it would take. 90mins later phoned and text me to say it was all complete. The standard of work was superb. Highly recommended. Thank you 5*
