Been coming here for years to be honest the ambience on a match day is second to none staff are warm welcoming and friendly at times there's a shout and they've gone to the trouble of ordering fresh pizza's for the bar for customers during the game!!With businesses struggling at times like these what a fantastic thing to do and to be honest it isn't needed and the punters would still come backProper pub for people who know how to keep a community together, well done and thank you all and a big happy birthday to the new manager for yesterday xx

I little walk out of town but what a warm welcome. Made us feel like part of the family. Pity we found this pub on the last night at Whitley bay. Great local pub. Fab
