Boom Battle Bar Cardiff
Went for the mini golf and it's very short.It has two unique holes but compared to the other options in Cardiff it's pretty poor.It's definitely a side option for when you visit and need to tack something on to the end of other activities.Definitely try golf fang or tree top first.

Atmosphere and service are excellent. Range of activities is good. Pricing for the activities and drinks is very expensive. There is no Happy Hour for drinks or cocktails either, which is very disappointing because the majority of bars in the area offer this on certain days and times. Nonetheless, my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed axe-throwing and crazier golf and will certainly return. It’s just not someone we’d buy lots of drinks due to the aforementioned reasons.

While the actual game of shuffleboard was fun, the shuffleboard lane i played on moves if you lean on it, I'd have thought it would be a bit more fixed than that. Despite our booking saying arrive 15 mins early so we can tutorial you, we were sent away at the 15 minute mark by staff, which seems to imply that the site and staff don't know left hand from right hand. Add to that then that the downloadable drinks menu contains drinks they don't serve, not run out of, but don't serve, adds to the frustration. And then on top of that, food feels overpriced, and you're encouraged to order it over the app, only to find that there ia no explanation of what is in the items. I had a vegan chicken burger that came out, for ne, overly spicy, abd had i been able to see a spice rating, might have avoided that item. The burger, tomato slice and top bun were soaked in some kind of orange spice mix like they'd been dropped in a vat of it. The halloumi fries seemed undercooked as well.

Booked shuffleboard and pool here. Both really great fun, did get interrupted a few times during our games to reconfirm our booking as there was a mix up but otherwise really enjoyed it.Only thing that I would note attending is that it gets super sweaty in there as no air con and the music is quite loud. If that’s your vibe, I would recommend this.

Lots to do, friendly and helpful staff as well as being clean inside. Table service drinks is always a great addition to a place like this. Prices are reasonably priced too! We played the 9 hole mini golf, usual places are rather boring compared to here, with more than just using the putter. If we had more time we would have done more!

Boom Battle Bar Cardiff
We went to Boom Battle Bar to try some axe throwing on a stag do. It was good fun, the place and staff were great and in a brilliant location. We didnt get the food but we saw some come out and it looked really good. Big portions too! I feel like axe throwing was fun but would have been better if the board had been replaced as the axes wouldn't stick due to the fact the board was already cut to shreds. We did try electric darts and that was brilliant fun! The bar and drink selection was great and would definitely go back.

Boom Battle Bar Cardiff
We visited Boom Battle Bar for a staff away day and had a great time! The team were great - thanks Lewys and the team for looking after us - and really attentive throughout the afternoon. We took part in axe throwing, shuffle board and mini golf with the food buffet and drinks all included and it was brilliant. Great portions on the food and really good veggie options / allergen support. Would recommend to anyone looking for a staff away day! Thanks guys.

Boom Battle Bar Cardiff
I was on a night out with my friends and some male customers in the venue were being rude and creepy to us, we felt very uncomfortable and after asking them to stop they continued. we informed the doormen who spoke to the men and removed them without an issue. After this we felt safe and that we were protected, very grateful that we were able to enjoy our night after this.
