The MOT Centre

I broke down while on holiday and realised my MOT had expired so couldn't get breakdown to come out. The lovely lady in the office helped me sort recovery and rearranged things to fit my car in for a replacement battery and MOT with very short notice so I could be on my way that afternoon. Excellent 5 star service and I recommend them to anyone looking for a first class service. Thanks again for the help.

Took my Peugeot here from an MOT, didn’t realise it was such a backstreet dump. Should have been warned off by the attitude of the front desk lady. Failed the mot on tyre pressure shame they couldn’t have spared the 15 seconds to pump it up with the compressor that was right next to them. Took it to a reputable garage where it passed.

I have read the reviews on this garage and want to add a review that’s written in all honesty.I’ve known this gentleman Pete for well over 45yrs and he’s one of the most honest hardworking reliable mechanics I know.I don’t know why some people get such pleasure in writing damming reviews. If you’re that unhappy with the service Why did you pay the garage? I know I certainly wouldn’t pay for a bad service!I should imagine you’re like a lot of people who want the work done but don’t want to pay for an honest man’s hard work. Shame on you.If you want an excellent service done by a knowledgeable man then look NO further. Pete’s your man.

They went above and beyond to get my car fixed and MOT passed the same day so I could get my car back for an important event! Highly recommend

I was recommended to Pete & Val's MOT Centre by an old friend, who's always used them for many years & has been extremely pleased with their service.I contacted them on Saturday, 4th November, left them my car this Monday & 2 days later, Wednesday, 7th November, I collected it. Fabulous, efficient service at competitive pricing for a dual mass flywheel & clutch. They were delightful to deal with & took all the worry & concern away from a big repair job.It sounds very clichéd, but I genuinely wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to all my friends & family. Rye is not local to me, but I would definately make the extra effort to get my car to them for any other repairs required.A big thank you to Pete & ValVal Knott

Excellent service from Pete. He’s pleasant, polite and very efficient. He did the MOT on my camper this week. It was easy to book and drop the vehicle off. Communication after the MOT was first class. He took great care of it until I was able to collect it and it was spotless inside.

Whilst on holiday we had an alternator failure. Appreciating our position the staff made every effort to get us back on the road in 24 hrs. Polite and efficient service. We were very grateful.

These people have a terrible service and attitude damaged my car and wanted me to pay for it, Booked car for an Mot and they failed it ,where as other garages would advise, then went on to carry out overpriced repair that they botched, on the plus side they are very quick as no one uses them!! Warning, use them at your own risk..

Pete has done my motorbikes before and just took my transit connect In yesterday and I’ve had no problems with them at all, always polite, tells you exactly how it is and very honest, I have no problem in returning in the future and I will not go anywhere else now. I honestly can’t understand why people would have a bad word to say, maybe got to check their own attitude before jumping on others. Anyway brilliant service, happy with every outcome I’ve had.
