I am in Portreath on holiday and unfortunately whilst walking over the rocks and steep slopes at Botallac I slipped and fell on my camera bag. To my dismay I had damaged my Sony lens by twisting the lens hood and breaking the threads on the hood. The hood was stuck fast on the lens with no way to remove it. The lens was a 16-35 zoom and the twisting and position of the lens hood made it impossible to fully operate the zoom capability. I googled for Camera shops and fortunatelýI came across the Classic Camera Company. I rang them and spoke to Leck who was extremely helpful and sympathetic to my worry about the lens. Although he was busy he straight away arranged for me to call to his workshop. When I arrived there he filled me with confidence with his knowledge of cameras and he expertly repaired my lens etc.He was professional, polite and extremely helpful and I highly recommend his Company. He turned what could have been a disastrous holiday into a happy experience with the outcome being that my expensive lens was again fully working.Highly recommended.

This shop is brilliant!After getting in to medium format film photography, I discovered this place as I was expanding my kit with view finders and lenses and other bits and bobs.With their extensive eBay listings in which you could lose yourself for days, the had everything I needed. The quality, accuracy and depth of descriptions are just what you need to give you confidence when buying second hand. It's just as well I live over 300 miles away, otherwise I would never leave.I have bought from their eBay store a few times now, and their service is always super quick and extremely well packaged. Can't recommend enough.

An absolute pleasure to do business with, the lens I purchased came within 2 days of placing my order and is in even better condition than the pictures suggested. But more importantly the customer service has been fantastic and communication has been friendly and prompt. I will most certainly be a returning customer in the future.
