I have been learning to play the piano with Yukari for a few years now. She has taught me to play better musically as well as with a good technique.Yukari is very professional but also a very amiable friendly person which helps to enjoy the lessons more. If anyone is looking to learn piano, I would definitely recommend Yukari .Yukari enables me to realise the importance of performing in front of other people( through small recitals). At atmosphere with a slight nervousness helps me to consider how I should sufficiently express and convey the sound to the small audience. This also helps prepare for my exams . I have also been able to achieve a distinction in every grade I have done so far

I have been a student of Yukari for 10 years, and after learning from and trying multiple piano teachers before finding her I can confidently say she is the best teacher I've ever had. Yukari's mastery of the piano and expertise have helped me improve and develop not only my technical ability but also my theoretical appreciation for music. Through her teaching I was awarded distinction for my Grade 8 and now continue to work with Yukari on my diploma.Her ability to adapt to Covid-19 by use of video calls meant that I could continue progressing even during lockdown.I also regularly enjoy the student concert's Yukari organises as not only is it great practice for exams but I get to see how she skilled she is at teaching students of all ages.I strongly recommend Yukari to anyone looking for a fantastic piano teacher and am very glad I chose her all those years ago.

Yukari has taught my son piano for six years and throughout that time she has proven to be an excellent teacher: professional, patient, with high standards and an amazing commitment to teaching music well. Many of her students come to her, as we did, by word of mouth recommendation in the neighbourhood as she has such a strong local reputation as a great piano tutor.

I returned to piano playing as an adult and have studied with Yukari for many years. Her standard of teaching is very high. She has the ability to teach all standards of students, from young beginners to diploma level students, for all purposes and many styles of music.The teaching is delivered on two grand pianos, for pupil and teacher. There is an option, if you wish to take it, of performing your work at regular pupils' concerts. Online lessons are available - these were very successful during lockdown. Everything is delivered with Yukari's combination of enthusiasm, knowledge and creativity. Whatever your musical requirements, I thoroughly recommend Yukari as a teacher.

Yukari is a wonderful teacher who encourages and supports her students to reach their full potential. My daughter loves her lessons and through Yukari’s excellent teaching over the years has achieved high distinctions in her exams as well as developing her musicality and performance.

Yukari has been teaching my children for a few years. She is a fantastic teacher, very responsive to the student's individual learning approach whilst retaining a sense of humour. She had taken the time to ensure that my children play pieces that they enjoy and worked hard with them on timing. She has an accurate and focused approach to progressing their abilities.

We have known Yukari since 2014 and she teaches both my children. They both enjoy the lessons enormously. Yukari is a fantastic and inspiring teacher and has encouraged both my children to play pieces of their choosing as well as exam pieces. Yukari regularly arranges concerts for her students to perform to one another, and these family events are thoroughly enjoyable. I started learning with Yukari as an adult, having done ABRSM grades 1-5 when I was younger. I wanted to continue with grades 6-8 and was pleasantly surprised how quickly Yukari helped me get back on track.Yukari is very good at pinpointing the improvements that will make the most difference to my playing. I find her attention to detail particularly helpful. She really helps you to understand the music and is always ready with suggestions to try next.For me, taking up lessons with Yukari was a great decision. I look forward to them every week and am enjoying playing some fantastic music.

Yukari is such a wonderful teacher, before we found Yukari, my both children age 9 and 11 had been learning piano for a few years, changed a few teachers but struggling to achieve high marks in the grade exams, but within a few months of changing to study with Yukari, they have achieved distinction in grade 6 and grade 7, which we would have never expected to happen so soon.Yukari teaches with great patience and attention to details, correcting all the fundamental techniques in every lesson. I can see both children completely changed their ways playing piano, they start to enjoy music even more and producing much better sound, they both agree Yukari is their favourite piano teacher!Both children now have been offered places at top music schools, but we would still like to take more lessons from Yukari.We will not hesitate to recommend Yukari to anyone. Not only she has years of valuable teaching experience, she is also very kind and caring, which is hard to find… she has even gifted both children with inspirational books to help them grow!Thanks so much Yukari!
