Friendly, welcoming club with great coaches

Surrey Canoe Club have given us, as a family, so much enjoyment. From family paddles on a Wednesday evening, to days out on the youth camp, and most recently, a fabulous birthday party for my son and his friends. The care and consideration from Albert, Head Coach, is wonderful as he takes into account everyone's needs by differentiating his teaching, so that everyone has a fabulous time on the river. Whether your looking for a relaxing paddle on the Thames or developing your kayaking skills, there's something for everyone.

The kids loved it! Albert and Matt are great instructors, patient and enthusiastic. They played games with the kids and even took photos to upload for us. The day was well organised by Panagiota and she communicated with me the whole time. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to take a large group of children for an afternoon of fun on the river. My son and his friend loved their day at Surrey canoe camp. Albert was a friendly and knowledgeable instructor and the boys felt safe in his hands.

My two grandchildren had their first experience of canoeing recently. Their day was filled with instruction and practice on the water. I felt that they had benefited from Albert’s clear tuition, high expectations and easy manner with the youngsters. I hope that their experiences has given them further understanding of safety on the river and an appreciation of nature at close quarters.Thank you.

Such an amazing special place , where they are so inclusive of visible on non visible disabilities. Extremely child / family friendly. High quality of hygiene . Not only is it fun for children but they learn new skills. Canoeing kayaking and paddle boarding . Lots of smiles and laughter even if it is drizzling with rain! Not too expensive ! Highly encourage this gem of a place! All staff are exceptional
