The salon itself is a safe space and they are inclusive to all. It is a friendly atmosphere and everyone there really enjoys what they are doing and that makes you instantly relaxed and comfortable. I went to get my nails done by the superstar that is Amy. She is a fantastic nail artist and makes me feel well looked after as she is genuinely caring to your needs. She has slayed every nail set I have had! I can’t recommend this space and Amy enough. Book in and don’t regret it! Some of the epic sets Amy has done, I get compliments every time and that’s down to her skill.

Came out feeling further embarrassed of my hair… I have to buy a wig now to hide my head… It looks the exact opposite of what I asked for and shown image of. I don’t understand how this is even possible. It looks nothing like what I shown and asked for. And I cannot go back in to ask for tweaks because too much hair was cut off and i cannot save it. I have to embarrassingly wait for it to grow back and it is going to take a year now…The people are lovely however this is the worst haircut I have ever had and I am unhappy especially paying £50 for it. Waste of money..

As an introvert with anxiety issues, I struggle so much at most hairdressers. I struggle to make conversation and never get the haircut I really want. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Kelly for about 2 years now and would never change. I feel comfortable, we chat about tattoos the entire time and I leave with great hair that I always get compliments on. Such a great place!

Always stuck to the same hairdresser, so when I came to uni I didn’t want to be going home to just get my hair cut. I went in and asked if they knew how to cut curly hair and booked an appointment there and then. Jac was lovely with me, really went through the process of what she was doing. After she gave me recommendations of different products to use. Been back since and will keep going back too !

One of the most inclusive salons in Liverpool. Everytime I've come for a restyling or trim I have felt safe, welcomed and always walk away happy! The atmosphere is great and all of the staff are wonderfully friendly.

Beck is wonderful!! Always feel so comfortable and at ease. My hair always looks gorgeous, they are always up for a big change. The decor is stunning, good music and facilities. I can’t recommend them enough!! Hairdressers can be quite stressful for me as someone who is ND, but they are all so accommodating. xx

Such a gorgeous and colourful space, I was made to feel so comfortable and really enjoyed my whole experience with Beck. I love how inclusive the salon is and how it takes the anxiety out of getting a unisex or alt haircut done with care professionally. Everyone was very friendly and made sure I felt empowered the whole time, from really paying attention to what I was asking for, offering me drinks whilst I was there, and complimenting my new hair! Couldn’t recommend more

Be careful when you pick Pretty Vacant for your hairdressing needs. There is no turning back from it and there will not be another salon good enough for you!After 30 years, I fallen in loved with my hair again thanks to them. They understood me (and treated my hair with proper career) as no other salon ever have.

Kelly has been cutting and colouring my hair for ten years, I’d never go anywhere else. She’s knowledgeable and has created a space where everyone is welcome regardless of race, gender or sexuality. She makes me feel so comfortable and I leave feeling like a badass. Would highly recommend Pretty Vacant.
