Paddington - Elizabeth LineFrequent services to the East and the West. Change here for the Bakerloo, Circle, District, Hammersmith & City lines and GWR services towards Penzance, Gloucester and Wales. There is step-free access to train and there are lifts.

I particularly love passing by Paddington Station, it feels like the ultimate London experience, massive station, crowded, so much happening everywhere, but I particularly enjoy this one because it seems less chaotic than many other stations in London. They have plenty of staff and they are polite and helpful. Specially when travelling from overseas with a suitcase, this station is also best with all the lifts very well distributed. One thing I don’t advise is to organise to meet friends here, it’s too big to be able to find each other. I tried once to meet a friend here, well, it was her idea, it was my first time here and I had no idea what I was getting into! For example you may say “let’s meet at Costa”, but there are sooo many Costa and the same of everything else, then there are the trains, the underground, etc… after over one hour looking for each other and walking around in circles, we changed the meeting location lol

The first thing that stood out to me about this train station, is its size. It's one of the biggest I have visited so far, and contains all the usual facilities and fixtures one would reasonably expect in a train station. It is quite clean generally and the infrastructure is quite modern, maybe because of the Elizabeth Line. There are taxis and buses outside which ease transport into London, and there is an abundance of shops around wherein snacks can be purchased while you wait for your train.

Central hub for most of the trains from Heathrow. From a first time visitor perspective (visited 20 yrs ago when was a teen )still it was quite easy to navigate. The station is build almost similar to the NYC grand central style plus the water canal access. There were plenty of fast food options and 2 convenience stores .There were uniform station workers to answer our queries .The toilets were clean and it was quite easy to navigate to our hotel from there .It seem clean and safe and we had a good start of our Europe trip from Paddington Station after a 12 hours flight

This review is specifically about The Elizabeth Line which you can access from Paddington Station.WOW.....Reading up on this, it seems that this whole project cost around the same amount as the now Dormant and Useless NHS Track and Trace App.No waiting lists on The Elizabeth line. It's beautiful and efficient.Go experience it.Something for The UK to be proud of.

Paddington
Amazing Station, roof looks incredible and high speed trains go to loads of different destinations across the South West. Very easy to interchange with other connections to other parts of London like the tube and Elizabeth line

Paddington Station is as always very busy this time of year. Lots of refreshments available and toilets that are free.Large information boards that keep you updated on train arrivals and departures.Within a minute walking distance od main streets for various shops and eateries.Excellent public transport buses charge max £2 .Tour buses Red Tour, Blue Tour and Yellow Tour depending what tour you want and some are longer than others. Jump on jump of all day. Tickets 24- 72 hour depending you length of stay in London. Tube train to everywhere from Paddington Station.Very helpful staff.

Beautiful building. Not as busy as I thought it would be. Easy to navigate to the elizabeth line which we did. We didn't go in any of the shops as not enough time.
