This was a fun & unique experience. You kind of had to focus all of your attention on eating and drinking and making sure your drink didn’t spill so the sightseeing part was challenging, but it was still a very fun afternoon! Food was great, drinks tasty, & the staff was friendly and helpful.

Loved our time on the bus, paid extra for not sharing with others and was glad we did as the seats are small. The food was really good and the crew friendly. We detoured because of the coronation and enjoyed a trip to the seaside with great music and a singsong.

Atmospheric bus but the windows were constantly fogged so you don't get to see much sights. We ordered vegetarian menu for two but unfortunately got only one and it was unclear which foods were vegetarian and which were not. They also forgot to serve our scones with jam and cream but did deliver them upon request.

This was such a perfect experience! I took this tour on my own and the staff were so friendly and made me feel comfortable. The bus is so cute and the food was excellent! The gin pot was sooooo yummy! I had the perfect day, eating and getting a tour of the city! I felt sorry for the people on regular tour buses, ha! Don't hesitate, book!!

We went on the red bus bistro afternoon tea experience after seeing the buses around the city. It was very well organised, the two buses had the seats assigned to the different groups in advance, with the bus and table number being provided prior to boarding. Up to 4 people can sit at one table, although it can get quite tight. 2 people have plenty of space. The food looks incredible and is delicious. There is plenty of food for everyone and we did not leave hungry. We had a sandwich missing at first but got a replacement within moments of asking. The tea is served in reusable sealed coffee cups that fit in holes in the table, so no need to worry about hot spills. We also got a plastic glass of Prosecco at the start of the tour. Although it was safe from breaking, it does not fit in the hole in the table and therefore it has to be held. It is recommended by the staff to drink the Prosecco early on and they told the passengers multiple times to not pour other drinks in the glass, however one women on board poured a drink into the glass which later on spilt on her after not holding on to her glass. The servers and driver on the bus were lovely. You can order alcoholic drink if you wish to do so, or just stick to coffee or tea. Extra alcoholic drinks are not included and have to be paid for.The bus stops twice, once for a toilet break and once for a photo opportunity, where we were allowed in the drivers seat. They offer help climbing into the seat if required. During the tour there is music on board and most songs are easy to sing along. The volume is loud but still allows conversations. Mind you, some people might sing along and don’t have the best voices so if you are looking for a calm alternative to a city tour with a cuppa, then this is not for you. There is not a lot of explanation to the city during the tour, although certain parts are pointed out along the way.We did not know what to expect but thoroughly enjoyed our time onboard the bus and could see us repeating the experience with visiting guests. We can therefore recommend the experience to everyone who is on either a longer or repeat trip to Edinburgh, as well as locals.

Had the best time ever! The ladies were so lovely, the afternoon tea was delicious and they have options for everyone. I had the vegan version and it was beautiful. So much fun it’s perfect for any Edinburgh or Glasgow visit. Highly recommend!

It was an excellent trip. The only gripe we had were we'd have liked more tea in our cups initially, we'd have liked another cup of tea part-way through, and we wished there was a way to secure the prosecco glass. The food was great. The view was excellent. The service and servers were very nice. We enjoyed the music which was a lot of eighties pop and some themed pop music for the locale.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! After ahorrendous start to our trip from London to Edinburgh after a cancelled flight and massive diversion we were one hour late to our 12pm bus tour! There is 6 of us we paid £225 for afternoon tea with gin We were told by the bus staff that if they had availability on the 3pm tour they would take us we went back at 3pm but unfortunately the bus was full so we were advised to call Monday morning! We were told that the customer service were incredibly helpful they couldn't have been more wrong! We made the call to try and rearrange the tour but was told that apparently we checked a box to say no to ticket protection this must of be in tiny print as we were unaware that we had refused protection, after numerous phone calls tn management we were refused anv kind of amendment or refund and even told we couldn't have food and drink We paid for, I have never ever experienced worst customer service in my life, and would advise anyone thinking of taking this trip to Think again!

We took part in the afternoon tea experience on a rainy day & it was the perfect activity. We enjoyed champagne, tea, sandwiches, & treats all while taking in the sights of the city. Helen & Brooke were great! We really enjoyed the warm home baked scones were the highlight for sure! Would highly recommend. Make reservations in advance.
