A gorgeous breakfast with lots to watch out the window if you desire. We were here around 11am on a Saturday during the festival, the place was busy. Lovely music and atmosphere created with happy staff and customers alike.Had the smashed avo and my partner had the French toast with bacon and syrup.Everything was lovely, my dish adjustment was catered for with no mistake and staff were upbeat and attentive.Great first experience, will be back ❤️

Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Pure vibes. But don’t pee in the sink, it looks like a urinal. It’s not a urinal, found out the hard way. Even worse when I realised it goes through to the women’s side too.

We were here on the Edinburgh Gin tasting tour. It was a fantastic experience. We can taste very delicious gin and we heard useful information about gin making. The place was very cozy.

Food, cocktails and service was outstanding. Samuel our waiter was so helpful and attentive and when there was a mix up with our table he promptly sorted out seating for us and got our table. Great atmosphere and we had a lovely afternoon/evening! Loved the haggis fries!

Food was spot on. Really tasty. Everyone was happy with the food, but we did wait quite a long time for the plates to arrive.. in all we must have waited 50 mins. The mini sliders were great.

Pretty good. We got the halloumi fries which were delicious. We also got the buttermilk chicken with waffles, the chicken was great, but the waffles were too dense. And finally we got the mac & cheese bites, we had never tried anything like it before and it was good.

We traveled here with kids who weren't quite ready to go out for breakfast. I came in to order takeaway and it wasn't an issue. They provided us with water and I got a latte while we waited. I appreciate they gave us a place to sit in the meantime.Once we got back to our hotel, we noticed our food was poorly wrapped for takeaway. Porridge and yogurt were turned on their side and wrapped in foil. Mostly just made me chuckle but wasn't an actual problem. I got into my eggs Benedict and the ham wasn't cooked at all giving it an odd texture. May as well have just been a ham sandwich. Egg, muffin, and sauce were good. Waffle, I made sure we could get syrup with it, didn't really have any and my 9yr old disliked it so much he took one bite and quit.I do understand food in the UK is different than the states but to pay £58 for this, is highly disappointing. The establishment is stunning and would be ok for drinks.

it was pretty average dinner for us.portion is on the smaller side for the price. mains does not come with any sides, we had to add on sides with extra cost.also, 10% tips are often included without consent throughout UK. i thought it was quite rude.
