I love everything about this shop and Sam and Lee. Their customer service is the best and the ethos of their business is something to be admired. I have travelled from Gloucestershire on numerous occasions to visit my friend but also to visit this amazing shop and have the ultimate shopping experience. Yesterday was no exception, and despite having a disappointing shock to find my favourite fragrance had been discontinued, Lee quickly retrieved my disappointment and filled my bag with some freebies to cheer me up - thank you so much as I didn’t even notice one of them until I returned home!!! Have spread your story far and wide and lots of my friends now purchase online - I hope this amazing business goes from strength to strength xx

Discovered these candles a couple of years ago in Seven Dials and have been a follower ever since. Love their ethos with refills for candles and their home fragrance, but mostly I love the brand because they smell so incredible.

I went into their shop in Brighton. It looks amazing, just like their candles. I also find their scent explanations super helpful when figuring out what I want to buy! Support small, highly recommend!

These candles are amazing. Love, love, love the fragrance, fills the house with lovely smells. They are so well made and beautifully packaged. Honestly you don’t need to buy form big brand names, these candles are just as good at a fraction of the price. Do it, you won’t regret it and you are supporting an independent retailer ☺️

As I am a huge fan of IOA’s products, I attended their candle workshop with 2 friends and my husband.We had such a wonderful evening, learning more about the brand from the founders, and how the products are handmade in conjunction with their very strong ethical values. We then got to choose which scent and make our own candles which was so much fun!A really unique experience in their new shop in the heart of the lanes in Brighton.I have many of their candles, reed diffusers, body washes & moisturisers as well as a couple of their perfumes, the quality is outstanding. I love how their products are refillable, especially the candles as so much waste is produced by empty candle carriers.I love this company and look forward to following their future successes!

Stumbled across the shop in Brighton. We purchased one candle and have ordered 3 more refills. They smell fantastic and the fact that you can buy refills is so convenient. Love lighting the candle of a night and hearing the crackle of the wooden wick!

Every scent is TO DIE FOR, complex and beautifully balanced. Please spend your money on incredible smaller businesses starting with this one! Very reasonable prices too. Sam on live chat was able to assist me with the scents and replied promptly even on a Sunday. The refills fall in perfectly as the candles burn leaving little to no wax round the edges of the container.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Absolutely highly recommend. Amazing fragrances, the candles burn perfectly, the scent pay off it brilliant. I often get headaches when burning candles, and have had no problem with these. The fact that you can also refill the candles/diffusers/hand wash and lotions is so great as well. A definite must visit if you’re nearby. I won’t buy home fragrances anywhere else now!
